Paris Hauled Back to Lynwood Jail

TMZ has confirmed that Paris Hilton was shipped back to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood last night -- the same jail where she allegedly teetered on the verge of a mental breakdown. Authorities decided she was OK to leave the medical ward at Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles.

Sources tell TMZ that Hilton has been doing much better with the proper meds, and we're told that there has been pressure on the Sheriff's Department to move her back to the Lynwood jail when the medical facility was no longer necessary. We're told that now Hilton has been deemed "medically stable."

What remains to be seen is if the medicines Hilton was taking will continue to be properly administered .

A rep for the L.A. County Sheriff tells TMZ that Paris was taken from the correctional treatment center at Twin Towers "late last night" and was transported back to Lynwood. The last time she did time at Lynwood, she was in a solitary cell in a special needs unit.

Paris Hilton's spoiled life: Click to launch photosThe Sheriff's Department has scheduled a press conference for 8:00 AM PDT. TMZ has learned that the news conference at 8:00 AM will last all of 30 seconds and won't address any further issues.

UPDATE: A Sheriff's rep tells TMZ that Paris will be in the medical clinic at Lynwood until they are sure she will remain medically stable. After that, Paris will move to the same cell she was in before she left the facility.

UPDATE:
We're told that Hilton was transferred last night around 11:00 PM.

91. Best thing to do is do the complete sentence if not all the screaming and protesting will start and even with an early release she'll get thrown right back in there. Just get it over with and good luck Paris Love you.

92. To Blink #80
It's not the sheriffs decision. A judge decided her punishment and unless the sheriff wants to spend a little time behind bars he better carry out the court's orders.

93. "Herpes" Hilton isn't getting it any worse than the other 20% with similar charges, - you know, the ones who continually thumbed their noses at the parol system, courts, and authority in-general. Truth's out, she was sentenced appropriately and treated MORE than fairly. So, cry baby cry.

94. There's a report that Stan Lee is going to star her in a TV cartoon; then there's a report that she's changed her ways and wants to work for charity. Which Hilton is the TRUE Hilton?

95. Kudos to TMZ for finally reporting the truth.
Paris Hilton IS being singled out and is being given special treatment after all.
ANYBODY ELSE in L.A. County would already be out of jail.
She is being made an example of by a grandstanding Judge and City Attorney.
Watch for both of them to do the Greta/Nancy/Paula chat show route as "the men who put Paris behind bars".
And no, I am not a friend or a fan of Paris Hilton's, but fair is fair and unfair is unfair.
It should be obvious to anybody by now that she is being shafted.

96. She never had any type of medical condition anyway. - Parisexposed.com shows that she is just a spoiled, sex-driven druggie with VD.

98. Paris Hilton, just another name for spoil brat. She is going back to jail for how long? WHo Knows!! This may be what she needed to get herself some help if she really is mentally ill **rolling eyes** However, to all those who think she got unfair Justice, think how society would feel if she while under the influence injured or killed someone? The public cry would've been "why wasn't something done?" So regardless if you love or hate her, it's the potential for what could've been that has me concerned. If you disagree, contact me and tell me what you think!

99. Paris Hilton should have to do her time in the general population unit, just like I'd have to. Instead she gets special treatment, her visitors get special treatment and she just costs the system even more money. If that little bitch isn't getting high on medically provided drugs in order to keep her "happy and quiet" I would be really surprised.

I can't believe these sheepul who are saying she should be released and her being in jail is unfair. Wake Up! She's never had to take responsibility for anything in her life and it's about time she does.

101. I am no fan of Paris Hilton. I feel her behavior in general is shameful and a horrible example to the thousands of teenage girls who are watching her every move be reported by a morally bankrupt, bored, and ridiculous media. HOWEVER, that said, I don't believe any other citizen in our country gets treated this way for driving on a suspended license! Or violating 'parole' when the list of infractions are so "relatively minor"! Clearly the judge was out to make a statement about her behavior and lifestyle....and her clear conviction that the rules don't apply to her. Understandable, but....legal? reasonable? Does the punishment fit the crime? Yes, she's done this to herself, by behaving so outrageously. But she is paying a mighty price for her celebrety. House arrest would have been enough of a punishment, and would have cost LA a hell of a lot less money! Send her home, confine her to her home for the next month and end this circus! A regular citizen charged of the same crimes would not be held in the county jail at this point. To the judge I say, let it go! To Paris I say, Grow Up!

102. Finally, for all you exaggerating simpletons out there who've been trying to spin the truth and say that no one receives the sentence that Paris did, - well, 20% have. So, what leg do you have to stand on, now?

103. it's about time she gets put back where she belongs.....and i think the hiltons need to pay for her $1000 a day stay at that jail instead of the hard working tax payers like my husband and everyone else that works in the real world....and i bet paris is going to be calling this the NOT SO SIMPLE LIFE!!!!!! that's what you get for breaking the law

105. I am no "fan" of the Hiltons, Or Paris for that matter but I believe the statistics if they say on a research level 1500 people had the same violation(s) as Paris were not sentenced this severely. It does need to be the same. To say she is getting "better" treatment may not at all be true, if to be there in the first place, in not necessary. It could make a better person out of her and if it does then it was all worth it. She is 26 now. Time to grow up, and give back. With her money she could be such a great instrument for so many causes.
