Gossip & Rumors
Prince Harry: Who's My Daddy?!

For years, rumors have swirled questioning the paternity of Great Britain's Prince Harry. Red hair say what?
James Hewitt, Prince Harry, Earl Spencer
While reports have always suggested that Diana's flame-haired ex-lover, James Hewitt (left), may be the late Princess' real baby daddy, author Christopher Anderson claims in his new book "After Diana," that now Harry (center) himself wants to take a DNA test to put the rumors to rest. Over the Queen's dead body!

Although Harry and Hewitt both share a carrottop likeness, it should be noted that Diana's brother, Earl Spencer (right), is also a redhead. So there is some red in Diana's blue blood!

Should Harry decide to go ahead and take a DNA test against the Queen's wishes, he might want to stay out of Parisian tunnels.

256. In response to response # 2, it is genetically possible for one blue eyed and one brown eyed parent to have a blue eyed child. In fact, the probability of a blue eyed child can be as high as 50% depending upon the brown eyed parent's genotype. Each parent has two genes for eye color and randomly passes one gene on. Thus the child ends up with two genes for eye color as well. Because the brown gene is dominant, it is impossible to tell just by sight whether or not a brown eyed person has a recessive blue. If s/he does have a recessive blue, s/he could pass this along. This in addition to one of the blue-eyed parent's recessive blue genes, would give a blue eyed child.

oh, and the tunnel comment was heartless...

257. It would be great if Hewitt is Harry's father - that would be a genetic improvement from Charles' muddy swamp of inbreeding - and Harry would be wise to trust nobody in the castle but his brother William.

258. .......Who cares? Is it really going to make a difference to any one of your lives at the end of the day, who his father is? I bet half of the people arguing on here don't even know who their real father is.

259. A number of us here think Prince Harry looks a LOT like America's own beloved redheaded prince, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Could Princess Di have had a little "aero push" from the ol' Intimidator himself?

260. A brown eyed person can parent blue eyed children if they carry the recessive trait. Blue eyes however can not have brown. Anyway Al Gore the chunk who ran for president in U.S> his son got busted for drugs. His mug shot looks more like Teddy (the swimmer)Kennedy. Ya think?

261. If I were Harry I would say. "Forget it my mum is dead and Charles is the only father I know" And Diana's brother has red hair and blue eyes. So mystery solved case closed.

262. Everybody in the media business have suspect that Harry doesn't have Prince Charles' dna; maybe even the royal family themselves. The "family" does not want more embarressment from Diana by getting a dna test--she has done enough to disgrace them.

263. Okay folks Harry is not Hewitt's son. As well as the predominantly red haired Spencer family the red hair permeates thoughout his royal ancestry. The Norman and Plantagenet Kings of England were almost all red haired according to contempary descriptions. The Tudors were red haired, Most of the Scottish kings from whom he is descended through Mary Queen of Scots had red or auburn hair. Harry is descended from the Normans, Plantangenets, the Tudors, and the Stuarts. So it is not the slightest bit surprising that Harry has red hair, the genetic heritage of red hair in his ancestry is huge. That tip tilted nose of Harry's when viewed from the side can be seen in profiles of King Edward the Eighth (The Duke of Windsor). Now look at the shape of Harry's eyes; they are close together and deep set as are the Queen's and Princes Charles' and Philip' and that long nose, the same shape as Prince Charles'. His eyes and eyebrows tilt upwards unlike Hewitt's whose tilt down.. Neither are his chin or mouth the same shape as Hewitts.

264. Unfortunately, from pictures one can see the Windsor bloodline in his face. As he ages the Windsor resemblance will be more apparent.

265. Yes brown eyes are dominant but not excusive. Brown eyed people who have one blue eyed parent carry one gene for brown eyes and one for blue eyes. Blue eyes are recessive therefore blueeyed people can only pass on a gene for blue eyes. NOW if two blue eyed people have abrown eyed kid then they've made history or somebody's in trouble!

267. TMZ - Harry looks just like Prince Charles. Please leave these young men alone - they have been through enough, don't you think?. The tunnel comment was really sad. Why would you say something like that?
