As for whether the Sheriff caved to political pressure by transferring Hilton back to the Lynwood Jail, a Sheriff's rep says no way. He told TMZ the decision to transfer Hilton was made by the medical staff at the Sheriff's Department. The Sheriff merely executed the decision.
It sure looks like Sheriff Baca was not the only one paid off by Paris' Grandfather since TMZ is so loyal to Paris instead of remaining neutral like any other news source it is obvious that the Hilton Family paid off Harvey Levin as well.
I have no sympathy for Paris. I believe that the rich should be held to a higher standard when caught driving drunk or driving on a suspended license because they can afford to hire a driver if they want to get drunk or need to go somewhere while their license is suspended while an average hard working Joe cannot afford a taxi or may not have access to a bus to get to work and support a family. Drunk driving should be wrong for anyone not just the poor! Paris had options that a regular person does not have. There was no legitimate reason for Paris to be driving drunk or on a suspended license. Paris is no better than anyone else and does not have the right to endanger the lives of innocent people while driving drunk! The fact is Paris broke the law on more than one occassion and deserves to be in jail. I just wish that she had to do hard time in a regular cell like anyone else! TMZ.com should not condone drunk driving by taking Paris' side!
The hiltons would be helpless and poor if it weren't for the people that clean their hotel rooms(probably at minimum wage), cook their meals, do their laundry, wash their bentlys..the people they look down on...

#44 fogcitypettyfogger: There is NO legal foundation whatsoever in support of a motion that Judge Sauer should have recused himself in this case. Her initial counsel, Howard Weisman is one of L.A.'s most respected criminal defense attorneys with relatively little experience in DUI matters. That being said, the Court was well within their purview in sentencing Hilton to 45 days with special conditions after violating probation THREE times according to the California Penal Code. As a condition of her probation, she was also required to enroll in a state vetted alcohol rehabilitation program by a date certain, which she failed to do. Sauer would still have handed down the exact same sentence, based on the multiple violations of her probation, no matter who was representing her.
