Thousands Tell County -- What's the Deal with Paris?

A TMZ user fired off an e-mail to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, complaining re: Paris, "Money talks, regular folks stay locked up." Here's the response he got from the Sups:
LA County Seal, Paris Hilton
"Thank you for your note regarding Paris Hilton. We have received thousands of e-mails from members of the public on this matter. Please know that the Board of Supervisors shares your concerns and has asked Sheriff Lee Baca to make a public report next Tuesday, June 19. The Sheriff has been asked to provide the reasons for the premature release of Paris Hilton from the Sheriff's Century Regional Detention Facility, including the reasons for not placing her in an appropriate medical facility such as the jail ward of the LAC+USC Medical Center. As you may know, the Sheriff is an elected official, so the Board of Supervisors has limited authority over that department."

151. Prada where have you been no one has said a word about wishing that herpes infected bigoted skank cancer and death. Trying to drum up sympathy?

152. Oh, okay, for once I'll play nice! But, just this once. Paris really got screwed when the judge reversed his own decision and increased her sentence from 23 day to 45 days. Is there a legal precedent for that? I think she should do her time (23 days) because, if she's going to be an example to young women, then she SHOULD be held to a higher standard. Young women need to see that dangerous, reckless behavior = legal punishment. Someone could get hurt or die from drinking and driving. I would really like to see her skip the Las Vegas getting out of jail bash (if that's true) and donate that money to advertisements warning people not to drink and drive. Nothing could be more respectable or go further to improve her image than that. It has been nearly 10 years since Princess Diana died. DO IT AS A TRIBUTE TO HER. Mr. & Mrs. Hilton, would you possibly consider doing that? Please, if someone who knows them reads this, ask them if they would.

154. Would someone please tell me why this woman is on the news everywhere? What on earth has she ever done to be on every channel and magazine in this country? This is truly pitiful. I don't care if she is in or out of jail! If a study was done on every town in America, I bet you would find some very horrific issues that screamed injustice! Some of these left people without justice in any form, with lives destroyed due to corruption and unfair treatment of the "little" guy in this disgusting court system. This fluff up job on "fairness" with P. Hilton, doesn't solve anything. What I am outraged about is the hypocrisy in this country. I don't give a damn if Paris is being treated farily or unfairly. I care about justice and overall it is dying in America. I want to see a REAL study done.... on corruption and injustice for those lives that get no publicity. Then I might be interested and so should all of you reading on TMZ. Get real, please!!!! This woman doesn't matter in the scope of things. She will get out and then we will be forced to hear about her as she continues to flaunt and screw-up her life! What is wrong with America? Why this focus?

155. To the dimwits who called me whitetrash or said i must hang out with whitetrash. My friend is a very nice, smart black woman who made a bad choice when she was younger. And the point , to the other idiot, is that people do very little time here in California. It's really a shame that a man can come to a woman's work, punch her in the face, receive 30 days and end up staying for less than 24 hours. Point is the system is screwed. Next time put up a real opinion.

156. “Reverently”, in his ( or her ) posting No. 626, of 11 June 2007, said: “Father Maximiadis, how much did the hilton's pay you for this? Isn't 10% customary?” and further added: “are all you fans fricking crazy or just delusional?”.
Firstly, your question regarding the ‘customary 10%’ is a figment of your fertile imagination, based upon your assumption of a supposed relationship between the Hilton family and I myself. In this circumstance I could assume that your posting is an attempt to vilify the Hilton family under the semblance of sarcastic vitriolic jest.
Secondly, I’m perplexed by what you mean by: “fricking crazy”, and “just delusional”. The former seems to be an expression of your annoyance at others, like myself, who have a difference of opinion from your own. The latter, i.e., “just delusional” exhibits your unfamiliarity with psychological terminology; and your incautious use thereof.
I would suggest that you, and others, who defame the this family, ought peer with compassion towards the human faces, behind the sensationalistic public informations, and ask yourself if you would appreciate understanding, and kindness, in your most vulnerable times of need?

157. Father Maximiadas how about we show the same kindess and understanding that we have seen parasite display in the media for the past way too many years. This retort took you four days?

160. Ok Enough already. I agreed that she shouldn't have been let out and so to put her back in was valid. But now it's bordering on torture. She has learned something from this. I doubt she would endanger anyone else let alone herself to cause another infraction which would land her in jail again. I am not a "fan"of this non entity but it looks to me like she is being tortured. It puts me in mind of a public stoning. Paris and her family are being ostrisized through public humiliation. As a citizen, mother, & a civil human being, I feel empathy for Paris. Enough of the public lashes, stop short of the hanging. Set her free

161. It is sad... that so many opeople have decided to jump on Paris... to degrade her and berate her... for her mistake... she is a young person... and young people make mistakes...

Geo W. bush and Dick Cheney on the other hand are essentially war criminals.. who have consistently and intentionally LIED to the American public... and are doing so to promote a selfish agenda... the results are the untimely deaths thousands of our best and brightest young people ( soldiers).. and several hundred thousand Iraqui innocents have dies as well.

if you wanna put someone in jain for a real 'crime' these are the guys that should be incarcerated. They have raped Lady Liberty, stolen elections, tampered illegally with the legal system, and created trillionsof dollars of war debt... and now they laugh in the face of all criticism... your precious civil liberties are now a thing of the past... and you have only your own stupidity to blame... for spending time berating Paris... when what you should be doing... is marching against the tyranny that is the Bush administration...

stop the war now... and return power to the people!!!!

162. This coverage on this undereducated, spoiled heiress is getting excessive. In Philly she would have done a great deal more time. I suppose La-La Land is so very special when you dole out conviction time, especially if you are a celebrity and wealthy.
I was very upset when my 30 year old daughter, who holds a 5 year degree in religion, moved from NY,NY to this place of seriously uneducated, spoiled celebs. As a screenwriter she felt it was best. Guess what? She is Latina and my other daughter is Turkish Muslim. No legal problems with them due to ethnicity. Why/ Because they are well educated, maintain high moral standards and help others in need. Exg : Darfur and Katrina victims, NARAL and getting our troops home. Body count today is 3510.
I do agree that more persons of color receive higher penalties, are arrested without evidence and are at a greater chance of being harrassed by law enforcement. That doesn't make Simpson less guilty of commiting 2 homicides.
Start concerning yourself by bringing home our beloved young men and women from Iraq or the genocide in Darfur.
In the greater scheme of things does this spoiled girl mean a rat's behind?
I hope this letter was pacific enough. ( No, Not specific ), look it up.
