His personal life is his own and he likes to keep it private, but can never do it with the paparazi hounding him. You know it's never too late to be a dad, especially a rich and handsome one. 55. All the many women he's dated in the past, including Daisy Fuentes & Mariah Carey, all seem to have signed a confidentiality contract. None of them will say anything about him, even after they have split from him. That's including the mother of his daughter. His current girl friend had a baby boy a few months ago here in Los Angeles. You never get to see her. It's as if they enter a cloister. It was at Disneyland, not Disneyworld, that he was first photographed with his daughter and his current girlfriend, all with painted animal faces. I think his popularity goes up because he's rarely seen in public. He thinks he's all that, and the latin fans believe it.

Just so you get an idea how immensely huge Luis Miguel is, this is a guy who releases an album – any album – does 1 press conference to introduce it and answer media questions and NEVER visits a radio station, does TV show, does interviews with anyone again – unless he chooses to, which is rare – and manages to sell millions of copies. Plus, he sells out every tour he does. He holds the records in Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional – considered one of the world's best venues – with 30 consecutive sold out concerts. Yes, 30! And only he can break his own record.

He's a private person, and although he seems arrogant, no one really knows what kind of a person he is, because he doesn't let anyone in. He's never needed the tabloids to be the artist he is. In fact, the most we've seen him in his private life was when he was dating Mariah Carey.

As an artist, there is no one better than him. He's got a voice that is the envy of anyone in the world's music business. He can out sing anyone, and there are no mic tricks, no special mixing in the studio to make him sound better than he really is. He sounds even better, if that's possible, live than on his records.

And when that whole "crossover" mess happened in 1999, with Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca," he didn't immediately jump on the bandwagon and go into the studio to record an English-language album to attract the "American" world, and he speaks perfect English. Luis is a leader, not a follower. He's conquered the world singing in Spanish and that's the way he likes it. And so do we!

If you didn't know who he is, now you do! And as an added bonus, TMZ, you just found out about a huge market has been right under your nose all this time, and you didn't even know it: The Latin market. Can someone say $$$$$$$!!!! And you owe it to Luis Miguel. Ha!
