Paris' Next Hot Haunt -- The Lynwood Lounge

You may never see the inside of some of Paris Hilton's favorite L.A. hangouts, so savor this -- it's the glamorous Lounge 2600, where inmates at the Century Regional Detention Center go to chill! Hot!

No banquettes for Paris to dance on, but there is a balcony for her to gaze down upon her captive public. And the exquisitely coordinated color scheme -- chairs, columns, doors -- gives special meaning to the queasy shade of Institutional Green. The mod, rounded chair design adds a little Sixties chic to the place, and leaves no sharp edges for those pesky bitchfights!

Although it's just so 2004, the wardens even brought the bar-bed craze to Lynwood, with bunks right there in the common area. Comfy -- and three-to-a-bed cozy.

Now, if Paris will only get herself out of solitary!

77. People, please understand that Paris violated the law 4 times!!!! Her license was suspended back in 2006 (#1). and she was stopped for an illegal u-turn with said suspended license and given a warning and a second fix-it ticket (already highly unusual) (#2), then she got the first DUI (#3), she was put on probation for that and her license suspended. Then she was stopped for driving with a suspended license and while on probation (#4). So her punishment is just. If it was just the DUI then yes, most people get less than 45 days. But 4 violations... she deserves more. Plus the fact that she didn't bother to come to court, and when she was ordered to she came late... She has demonstrated that she has no respect for the law and she's paying the price.
Trust me, I've got judges, lawyers and cops in my family here in LA... if it were a regular person she'd probably have 60 days to serve, not just 45. And it is HIGHLY UNUSUAL for a Sheriff to determine if an inmate should get house arrest... that's for a JUDGE to decide AFTER hearing from the Drs, the DA, and the sheriff. A sheriff can make a recommendation, but not release an inmate. The judge has every right to be pissed.

85. two questions
#1 When the sheriff explains why he went agaisnt the judges orders, will he also have to explain why it cost so much extra for her vs a regular person?I think daddy should have to pay the taxpayers back for his darling daughter stay.

#2If Paris does plan on having a movie made about her time in jail,Who is going to play her?It is a fact she can't act. That is why she did the home prono movie, she couldn't learn the lines to be in a real one.

88. FACT: Hilton violated the terms of her probation – not once, but twice.

FACT: As part of her original probation, the judge had originally ordered Hilton to take 12 hours of an alcohol educational course. As of the end of April 2007, Hilton hadn’t even applied for it and February 2007 was the deadline.

FACT: Hilton was offered community service in exchange for a lesser sentence; she didn’t do it.

FACT: Hilton also claimed that she had not received notice of her suspension, which the police officers found in the glove compartment of her car. When the highway patrol stopped her the first time, they gave her a firm warning about her suspended driving privileges and required her to sign a statement acknowledging that she was not allowed to drive, which was placed in her glove compartment.

FACT: The second time Hilton was stopped in violation of her probation, she was speeding with her car lights off.

FACT: In court following her second offense of violating her probation, Hilton tried to play “the blame game,” and blamed everything on her publicist and supposedly “fired” this man whom she had convinced to take the heat for her. When the judge didn’t buy this lame story, she “hired him back.”

FACT: Hilton has claimed in interviews that she is a very shrewd businesswoman who reads her contract deals very carefully. But in court, she asserted that she doesn’t read the tickets that she signs?

It’s no wonder the judge gave this arrogant narcissist – who is all about image and ego -- the 45 days; he knew that with time reduced for good behavior, the actual time served would be a few weeks at most. It was a very fair sentence.

90. Response to posting: 61, by Genn, 17 June 2007, and 483, by “only anonymous…”. 17 June, 2007.

Thank you both for your response to my posts.

Firstly, I should like to thank you Genn for bringing to my attention your concerns regarding my comments seemingly ‘playing down what is going on in your country’. My comments were founded upon the assorted arguments posted upon TMZ.com, and reports on the electronic news media. My comments regarding the “judgemental stance” were, as I said, referring to the “cowards, who behind anonymity, take the moral high ground”, and unlike the fourth question viz., “… is the public outrage based upon the socio-economic status of the Hilton family?”, was ( only a question not to be considered as a comment expressing my opinion ) not implying that others, apart from those specified, held the same view. I have also heard that Paris Hilton “presents herself as a ‘role model’”, which, I agree, does raise a valid and worrying issue in respect to many young people emulating her, as well as other celebrities’ fashions and events. However, this issue is quite unrelated to the subject matter in question ss., the public vilification of Paris Hilton and her family.

One can try to understand the great loss your family suffered in losing a 16-year old young lady, through the carelessness of a motorist. The experience of being subjected to the pain, loss, and grief can only be realized by those directly effected. I would hope that I wont be perceived as depreciating the suffering, and grave loss, your family ( et alii ) endure, but a personal tragedy unassociated with another situation – as in the Paris Hilton case – can’t be used to support your argument suggesting that “…she did not accept blame for her actions and appeared to attempt to manipulate the legal system”. In the Hilton case there was, fortunately, no victim. One would hope that Paris Hilton has really “…accept(ed) blame for her actions”. And also hope that the arguments between the defence, prosecution, and the concluding decision ( of law ) were ( as one would expect of the American judicial laws of procedures and practices ) not a ‘manipulation of the legal system by Hilton’. In conclusion, thank you Genn for your polite response.

Secondly, Thank you “only anonymous” for your response to my posting. However, your sarcastic comments regarding my ecclesiastic title, arrogant assumptions, and sardonic remark regarding my website, deserve no response except to acknowledge that it is beyond daft.

All my postings on the internet regarding Paris Hilton were not in reference to her offences, matters at court, sentence and incarceration, but the harsh public vilification of Paris and her family.
