paris hiltonParis Hilton is turning to a higher power -- no, not Lee Baca -- to get through her prison ordeal. Heaven help us!

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that while Paris' medical condition has stabilized, she is emotionally still extremely fragile and is holding on by a (100 count) thread. We're told she prays constantly in her cell, asking for strength.

According to sources, Paris says support from her family is the only thing that is sustaining her. That and the prison gruel.

God bless Paris!

92. I'd like to respond to two things I've been reading for the past week about Paris and her troubles. First, people who don't like Paris are not necessarily jealous of Paris's money or want to live the kind of useless, plastic life she's been leading. People just cannot respect Paris because of her shallow existence and her well-documented mean-spiritedness. This leads to my second point: is Paris giving up those ways and really turning to God? Only God knows. But the world will be watching because everyone wants to believe that God can change even the WORST among us. Frankly He can.

So, if Paris goes back to her old ways, please don't blame God. He'll be able to simply say: "I never knew her."

99. She hasnt really spent much of any time in jail actually she has managed to manipulate it so shes in a private room in teh med section. Put her back in the cell adn she will cry her head off again . Its amazing how she was so " fragile" one minute then talking to barbara walters and issuing statements the next . She is definitly a manipulator and shes quite good at it. IM sure many people have panic attacks and cry when they are locked up in jail the only difference is no one pays any attention to them.
