Shots Fired -- Who Wants to Kill Kathy Griffin?!

Gunshots rang out in front of one of the most celeb-packed hotspots in Hollywood last night, leaving one man bleeding from a bullet wound and shattered concrete -- littering the entrance where stars like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan often check in.

A short while after our cameras caught Kathy Griffin walking out of Teddys at the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd., someone inside a passing vehicle opened fire toward the club. As the panicked crowd ducked for cover, the lead continued to fly. On this video, a bullet can be heard whizzing past our cameraman's head as he continues to roll. At least one person was injured after he was struck by debris on the side of his stomach. Other bullets connected with the front entrance, where several chunks of concrete were blasted out of the walls.

The LAPD is currently investigating the incident. So far, no arrests have been made.

16. At least Ms. Griffin had the common sense to tell those around her to get down. The 2nd round of shots sounded like it came from a different angle, two gunment exchanging fire?

17. I don't see why Kathy Griffin is relevant to this story.

18. Why is it assumed the bullets were meant for Kathy Griffin? Now we know she will milk every ounce out of this one...being the drama queen that she is!

Don't worry Kathy, it was probably just Lindsay Lohan. She heard about the coke whore comment you made about her and snuck out of rehab to take a shot at you! But then again it could be just about anyone in Hollywood with what comes out of
your mouth!

25. Come on fugnasty, get a life/clue/common sense, drivebys are not the real world for most civilized humans, including hollywood/celeb types. Not to sound racist, but the shooting came from and was aimed at gang/hiphop "types". Nothing to do with Kathy. Also, the shooting was at a doorway on a public street, which is locked is manned/opened from the inside by a hotel guard, which celebs do not use, cept maybe for the occasional escape to by pass TMZ. It's a shame with all those guys with cameras around, no one aimed the camera at the car. Thank gd no one was seriously hurt and thank gd most of us arent in Iraq or somewhere this really is common place.

28. Okay TMZ, "at least one person was injured," so were we hoping for more injuries? That was kind of an off statement. Thank goodness no one else was hurt, but I'm sure the person hurt would have, at least, not been hurt. Interesting. But, let's also not go on to say that, that's the real world. Not everyone's real world is surrounded by drive-bys and bullets. That's an aspect, but it shouldn't be the norm, anywho...Kathy's fine, and..."at least one person was injured," right TMZ?!?!

30. Mad props to the camera man, time for TMZ to up the ante on hazardous duty pay. I'd be wet in my pants if I heard that bullet go past me like that.
