Anyway, I think they should reconcile. You only get one shot to get it right in this life. I'd give anything to see my dad again, but he died suddenly years ago. She should do the right thing and let bygones be bygones.

Why do so many of you hate her, you don't know her. Do you know Jennifer? Or are you just so full of hate, you need a place to vent and she is your target. Do you watch Tom C. who cheated one not one but two wifes, what about Julie Roberts who was sleeping with her current husband, while he was still married and his wife was p.g.. Even cutie Tom hanks had an affair with his current wife while married. So, why Jolie?
If it has to do with adoption, then how many of you adopted a child? You don't need a lot of money to adopt. And if that is out of the questions, how about being forster parents the States pays you to help. So money cannot be an issue. How many talk to everyone who has hurt you in the pasted, maybe betrayed you?? Go a head vent you anger at Her, instead of someone in your own family. karma will come back and get you.... Do like her, okay, don't watch her or anyone else as far as that goes. But you seemed to be so angry. Your only hurt yourself.

33. All the Dad said is that she said that her daughter is sometimes "unbalanced". He's like to help her and see her doing better like any other Dad would. Apparently the truth hurts so the child cut off the Dad forever.

Now that Mom died a few months ago...all of a sudden NOW she wants to talk to her father.

When I heard her Mom had died months back, I knew this would come along.

All those "show" adoptions are to fill some void she has...I hope that the chiildren don't get discarded in effect when her whim takes her to some other activity or interest.

34. I think this would be a very good thing. Family grudges are the worst. Time goes by too quickly. Patch things up before it is too late. Everyone will feel better once things are settled. I wish them all the best.

in the world. It is just self serving for publicity.
The best way to really help children is to sacrifice some of their
luxury life style to build schools and orphanage, so that more
children can be saved.

there are things i like about her; however, she's a knave for her public hypocrisy: this public rejection of her dad while preaching 'family' and 'adoption of refugees', restricting freedom of the press while raking in $dough$ for a movie about freedom of the press & a premiere sponsored by 'reporters w/o borders'..."at the end of the day".

stop talking about reconciling with your dad who supported your skinny azz and gave you the start in a lucrative career you wouldn't have if you'd had to go to school like the rest of us and make it on our own.

42. You know, I would be mad too if my father got on national TV and said that I was mentally ill....especially being the star that she is. I saw the show where he did this and I remember thinking at the time how bogue that it was. You just don't do that. I also thought at the time that he was jealous of her success being that his career was on the wane. I wouldn't forgive the ass-hole. I would suspect that his motives were purely political. It woiuld be big news if they made up. At this point she won't even be at the same party where he is. I wouldn't do it., father or not. Look at it this way. Charles Manson has children.
