62. The possible reuniting with her Dad sounds like a publicity stunt to me..She is trying to cover all bases to insure she gets an academy award for Mighty Heart. Next we will hear she is instigating a visit with Anniston. I would like to see she and her Dad back together, and think they should, but I don't think it will happen. It's too soon after her Mom died.. IMO

63. TMZ & the rest of the press should just ignore her. The only time I give her some time is when TMZ has an article on her. I don't watch her on tv & don't go to her movies. Frankly, she's not that great of an actress.

64. Good for her! Yes, what he did to her Mom, she and her brother is despicable - but guess what? Unfortunately, he is only one of a gazillion male celebrities who have done the same thing at a young age. After all, it really doesn't jive with her persona of open-minded humanitarianism, then continuing to shut out her own father, now does it? You should not speak of things you know nothing about - it makes you the fool. Jolie used her full name - Angelina Jolie Voight to break into show business. She thanked her Dad numerous times for being a great father and for helping her with her "craft". She dropped the Voight after he told the world what they already knew - she is crazy!! She used nepotism just like most others in Hollywood. If you are going to defend someone, carolynlee, you really should check your facts first. You are the only one on this board looking like a fool!

67. I find it hard to understand why AJ can continue to alienate her Dad when she did the same thing she is upset with him for doing (disavowed the wedding vows). In her case, she took a man from his wife. Calling her "mentally unstable" was not called for, although many thought the same as he. Joint counseling may work. Shiloh looks like Jon and Brad. IMO Shiloh is getting older. Jon should be able to enjoy her now, but there may be deeper underlying reasons that we aren't aware of, and it may never be resolved.

70. I think Angelina is growing up. Parenthood can do that to you ! She was immature before and her father had a right to be worried. Now her mother died, and she herself has 4 children, and she must realize that you make mistakes with children. Who is the perfect parent? why should her father have to be perfect?? her 4 children would benefit so much to have a loving grandfather. Stop criticizing her, all of you. she went out to a movie premiere in a $26 dress, and gave O NE MILLION to charity. How many other stars would do that?? Faith Hill tells her fans to bring books to her concerts so she can get the credit by giving them to a charity of hers. She is spending MILLIONS on the books but asking the working fans to bring the books. Angelina is growing up and she is putting her money where her mouth is, and we should all be happy if there is a Father and Child reunion, and be happy if the 4 kids get a Grandpop. Have a heart!!!

Right before she gave the interview on Jon Stewart's show she told one publication, " We have four kids now, and if we decide to have more the question would be could we give them the one on one time they need"... Now she tells Stewart she wants 13-14 kids. Wonder how she is planning to give them all one on one time she thinks is so important? Angelina says different things on different days..Depends on her mood. The nanny's will be doing the one on one. With more movies in the making, she may be a lot, but super human she isn't. It would be almost impossible to give 14 kids one on one time. My parents had 12 kids..very little one on one time, but we weren't neglected. If she can do it, bravo for her, but with as much as she has going on, I don't see how she could. Brad is very hands-ons, so she is depending heavily on him.. IMO

Do you know if the donation was for an American charity? They recently gave a lot of money to a Sudan medical facility, and I think Brad has donated to Katrina, as well as helping build homes in New Orleans...Just wondering if Angelina gives to American charities..It's kinda hard thinking of her as an American when she spends so much time overseas, and her adoptions.. I agree with you about Faith. She is a has-been. She seems to have faded since she made that "suprised face, and mouthed "no way", when Carrie Underwood won entertainer of the year award. Her hubby, Tim has surpassed her in popularity...

I agree with everything you said, but you'll find there are a group of saints online, who have of course have been perfect their entire lives, and cannot find kindness to direct towards others. As far as AJ father is concerned, well Crappy Dad's aren't always Famous, there are Thousands of them who never make the limelight. And being the Dad I believe it is his responsiblility to make up for all the years and pain he caused. Adult children have the right to choose if they want that Crappy Dad in their life. If by chance AJ has forgiven him, That truly makes her a better person than her Dad. Grandchildren should have their Grandparents in their lives, as long as the Grandparent is there for the benefit of the children, and not for press releases.
