Talk about Scary Spice! Girl power gang the Spice Girls are threatening -- uh, saying -- that they may get back together soon. Mel C., that's Sporty Spice by the way, says (warns) that, "for the first time there is some truth to the rumors. We've been discussing it and it could possibly happen," she told BBC radio recently. "I've always said, 'I don't want to do it, the past is the past. It was amazing, it was magical. We could never re-create it,'" And perhaps it shouldn't be recreated.

Spice girl reunion? My question is, WHY? Their "music" (for lack of a better term) was lame. They're the girl version of the menudo; a producer put together group who's only hook was that everyone of them looked different. What a joke; just like New Kids on the Block, you had your nice one, your heartbreaker one, your tough one. How pathetic. They can't sing, they can't dance, they're not entertainers. Why push thus bogus act (with their stupid flashing peace signs while they were screeching "GIRL POWER!") on everyone again? Their 15 seconds of fame are over with; it's time to move on...

It's been 10 years since their heyday. They are a "nostaligia" act now. I thought the Spice Girls were great fun back then! They are all older now ,with kids and just don't have the young carefree image that made the fluff appealing. The day Ginger quit, the Spice Girls were done, the bubblegum fun image was blown. You just can't resurrect it.

It's so easy to sit back now and criticize them, but I'd bet the very people asking 'WHY???' are the same ones who still have a spice cd dangling from a car visor. I think they rock and I'm not afraid to say as much. They totally rocked the glam thing and made music that made you feel good. Beats the hell out of the 'stick a needle in my arm and shoot me full of heroine kinda depressing crap' Evanessence puts out..

It would be a big mistake for them to try to recreate what they did 10 years ago.
The whole "Girl Power" thing was cool then, but the fans have grown up and moved on. Don't do it!!!!
