No surprise here: Matthew McConaughey tops People's "Hottest Bachelors" list. The perpetually shirtless bongo-playing actor riffs to the magazine about his favorite summer activities ("what better way to enjoy [the summer] than the beach, where few people wear shirts"), and dishes on his favorite way to work up a sweat -- working out, that is.

And what about his ideal woman? Well, ladies, he wants a woman who is both hot and funny. Is that too much to ask for? "A woman with a good sense of humor is always hot," says the His Hotness.

Also on the list: Adrian Grenier, Justin Timberlake and -- gulp -- David Spade. Here's to having a good personality.

34. That "man" is not handsome at all, he is ugly even. I wouldn't give him the time of day. If it has to be a gay for People magazine, why not Rufus Wainwright ? At least he has talent, looks clean and has come out of the closet. Plus he is gorgeous to look at, he makes me wish I were a man.

36. Matthew is extremely attractive. I love that he is an athletic free spirit. I would go running, surfing or camping with him any time! Plus, I love the fact the he adopts "pound puppies." He's definatly not the average, bland Hollywood type.

38. One thing you all are forgetting:
BEAUTY IS IN THE "EYE OF THE BEHOLDER"!!
Some "perceive" that he is attractive, and some do not.
Just on appearance alone, I think he is extremely good looking. On choices he makes in his life--that's another story.
Another example to prove my point on "perceptions":
I think Brad Pitt is one of the ugliest guys walking. You see for some reason I am not "beholding". But there are alot of women that disagree with me, and that is perfectly fine!

39. TMZ is retarded!!! The most important person on the list, the one who came in second to Matty thru some terrible mistake and who should have been first bcz he is the sexiest man ever born...is Jake. Damn he is hot!!!! And that list is SO messed up. How in hell could they put an American Idol loser with skunk hair, and Kenny Chesney on a Hottest Batchelors list at all!!! It should have been Jake, then Matty, then JT, etc.

41. He made a couple good movies a few years ago.....A time to Kill and How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days. Other than that he's an ok actor. He does need cleaning up a bit and probably needs to dry up a bit.

44. if you can't say anything nice about someone, then don't say anything at all! Didn't your parents teach you any manners? I have been on this site many, many times and I have NEVER bad mouthed a celebrity! If I don't like them, I don't even comment on the article that TMZ posts. Would you like it if someone treated you that way?
