Nicky did not leave a bribe. It was someting for Paris that the have to check out. This is TMZ at it 's worst.

I have not heard of a jail allowing personal property from any family or friend for a very long time now. It is just to risky and drugs can get in many ways through personal care pacs from "loved ones"
They are under staffed as it is so they always say.
How can they check each inmates personnel belongings someone brings them too? Maybe its different in LA jails, But if it were ok I would think the family's would have brought extra blankets !.

The Hilton family is screwed up, but in particular -- the massively dysfuncitonal is the branch of the family tree that is: Kathy and Rick and their kids.

Kathy was only a teenager when she married Rick Hilton and into the Hilton name and money. She herself was just a 'commoner', and was not born into wealth and elitism. Since she is not true blue blood socialite, not growing up in this social class, she does display the class that is typical of 'old money ' aristacrats.

Kathy, the commoner, was child actress with a nasty stage mother, who was a twisted woman, and pimped all three of her daughters into show business; she desperately wanted to social climb upwards and she knew if her kids were in show business she/they would be exposed to some upper class social circles and those with money. Simply put, she pimped them out for the almighty buck opportunities.

Kathy, Kyle, and their other sister were C-list child actors, who had no true talent and could never find decent acting work as adults. Instead, they followed the next step their mother had in mind for them and married 'up', gold digging, for money.

Kathy is EXACTLY like her mother and passed this same agenda on to her daughters. This is completely unbecoming of those in social circles of old money -- who find Hollywood and celebrity 'tacky', are more interested in their kids getting into Ivy League colleges and preparing to take over their family business' and finances one day, rather than posing for papparazzi, going crotchless, reality shows, porn dvds, dropping out of highschool, etc., etc. The Hiltons, in particular the actions of their spawn - Paris, are an absolute joke among blue-blood social elites.

While Nick Hilton, Rick's uncle, did have some reckless behavior, his brother - Rick's father, was the responsible one and he certainly can not possibly approve of how Kathy has raised these kids to act like desperate trailor trash. It is Kathy and her upbringing and mother which has lead to the Paris Hilton "brand" of cheesey celebutante; it is not the fault of Rick nor the Hilton family.

PS: By the way - while Paris Hilton certainly isn't ugly by any stretch of the imagination, she's also not a natural beauty. She bears a strinking resemblence to Big Bird from Sesame Street -- ridiculously tall with huge feet, and her face lacks true beauty: she has a wonky eye and a long, curved schlong of a nose.

I think the Paris ordeal is blown way out of proportion. It's just 23 days and they act like she has a life sentence. All this drama is crazy. Martha did her time and so did Lil Kim without all this craziness. Just do the 23 days and that will be the end of it. She will now get out of jail and then there will be more drama. There is many things going around and so much that you are paying for. But the funny thing is that you do not discover what empties your pocket because your media is covering this story.

Bring back the prison diary and keep your eyes focused on Lynwoord, so the rest of the world can clean up their mess.

being familiar with Lynwood prison system i can only say that as a visitor to an inmate you are not allowed to give an inmate any type of package, parcel, even eye glasses are not allowed to be given to inmates. Just another example of special treatment to a rich bimbo.
