Yes I do think Opri thought she would get paid ! Thats why she took the case, she's not stupid, she knew the money that LB would get. HK$ and Anna already proved that by their pimping out of DL. Remember LB didn't like Anna pimping DL out. She got LB the contracts to show off DL and she should be paid, now if she had not got Lb the money he made that that is another story. Did she take this case on a contigency? I think not, she expected to be paid, the reason for the retainer contracts LB signed.

723. The job of special counsel calls for a person of integrity with a strong sense of justice and fair play. O'Quinn does not qualify even for the first tier position. Although an able advocate, his track record is one of disrespect for the bar and for flaunting unlawfulness. He could not, and should not, be hired to represent you and me.
There's another important angle to all this. Plaintiff's lawyers, like O'Quinn, really represent their own interests in a case because they are paid by a contingent fee, a percentage of their recovery. In this suit, O'Quinn stands to earn 44 percent of any eventual settlement or award. This is on top of whatever the state's taxpayers already pay to support the Office of Attorney General, which is supposed to handle such suits.
John O'Quinn is not qualified, according to the state's own standards, to be a special counsel. Dan Morales' choice of lawyers, perhaps fittingly, is as ill conceived as the tobacco lawsuit itself.

Yes you are right, I am one of the ones that USED to support LB, and I am not a backstabber.I have just had a change of heart and we are all entitled to change our minds. I stopped supporting LB when he tied up with HK$. I have not forgot all the things LB said about HK$ and ANS in FL. court and in interviews. He COMPLETLY changed his outlook on things as SOON as he got DL. Is he allowed to change is mind, but not us? That's a 2 way street. Alot of us supported LB, but in my opinoin he lied, cheated and he turned 2 faced and stabbed all us us who supported him in the back! And he stabbed Opri in the back too!

729. Larry told tales (lies) to make himself look good and it worked. He had Debra Opri slicking him over and any lie he told worked.

Now that's all over. He's got the baby and that's the end of it. People are always all slicked up and made to look like sweetiepies when they testify with cameras in the courtroom. Some bimbos in custody fights dress like little old conservative ladies to win over a judge.

Now Debra is crying in her beer because she wanted all the glory from the big case and her big media star. He tossed her to the curb and now they are having a public much-ado-about nothing.

In the meantime, back at the ranch--I mean back at the mansion, Larry is finally enjoying life and his daughter as it was probably meant to be. Give the guy a break and quit reading a buch of mumbo jumbo into all this, life isn't all that complicated.

733. Sandy K. I think maybe Daniel did leave a message. Isn't it strange that a 20 year old had the card of a P.I. that he had talked to about his concern for the safety of his mother. The P.I. didn't go and broadcast that Daniel had spoken to him no he was sought out by the detectives investigating his death if I remember right. Laugh but stranger things have happened than someone speaking from the grave. Of course you probably don't believe in angels either but I do. We did hear from Daniel after his death. If someone handed me their card I think I would just toss it but no Daniel had the P.I.'s card because he fully intended to contact him again when he had the money. He was having dreams if I remember right. But you would laugh at that too wouldn't you. Little minded person. Yes Daniel did tell us something after he died as evident by the card. 734. I wonder if the detectives even went to the place that Daniel lived in California and took Daniel's belongings to look them over? Does anyone know? If they didn't were they being negligent? Of course it was the Bahama Police who were investigating in Daniel's case..but shouldn't have the U.S. investigated too, seeing that Daniel was living in California and he must have had belongings where he was living. He must have had some stuff. What happened to Daniel's belongings?
