Paris Hilton has sent a message to TMZ -- she ain't no one special in the pokey.

A rep who visited Paris today said Hilton wants TMZ to know she's being treated like any other inmate, emphasizing she's getting no special breaks.

We're told Paris is spending time reading "The Secret" and "The Power of Now." She's also reading lots of "fan mail" that has been sent to the jail. She says most of the letters are favorable and it's helping her. She's written responses to some of the letters.

I doubt if she can even read. She is on ADDERALL, which by the way is NOT usually indicated for ADULT ADD and is a time released schedule 2 amphetamine based narcotic. She is SPEEDING out of her mind.....PATHETIC!

43. SHE IS NOT BEING TREATED LIKE A NORMAL INMATE.

Normal inmates don't get to read books! You just sit there and stare at the walls, and you're let out one hour a day.

Normal inmates' family and friends don't get to budge in line when they come to visit.

Normal inmates don't get assigned to the medical ward just because they may have a nervous breakdown. I had a nervous breakdown in jail for many of the same reasons as Paris (ADD and claustrophobia) and I had sit in that cell and bang my head against the wall.

As someone who has been a normal inmate, I can tell you that everything I've seen and read so far proves that Paris has been given special treatment.

By the way, I was in county jail for the same thing as Paris -- probation violation after a .08 DUI arrest. Except they put me in jail the MINUTE I was caught driving with a suspended license the FIRST time I was caught. And yes it was my first DUI arrest with no prior anything and yes it was reduced to careless driving.

45. keep her in she needs every min in there she is no one special and should not be treated any different than any person that has done the same crime, and her stupidity should keep her in there even longer every human knows when you dont have a licens you cant drive dumb ass.
