Sizemore Begs, Pleads, Cries: "I Don't Want to Go to Jail!"

Tom SizemoreA weeping Tom Sizemore appeared in a Los Angeles County Courtroom today where he admitted to violating his probation in a 2004 methamphetamine conviction.

Sizemore was brought into the courtroom in a jail-issued orange jumpsuit, wearing handcuffs, where he waited for a judge to hear the case. The judge asked Sizemore, "Do you agree you are in violation of your probation?" Tom replied, "Yes, your honor." The judge made her findings clear, telling the "Black Hawk Down" star, "Probation is a privilege ... Tom is not a matter of probation anymore because he has abused that privilege."

Sizemore openly wept in court, begging the judge, "I don't want to go to jail ... give me one more chance ... I have a terrible disease ... drugs have strapped me around the neck ... I guarantee I am not going to be here again! I want to rehabilitate myself and become a good productive citizen to society."

Tom's brother Paul and girlfriend were present in court for today's hearing. Sizemore was arrested last month in Bakersfield on suspicion of various drug charges, including methamphetamine possession. He is due back in court Monday, June 25 to hear his fate.

19. Jail may do this guy good, he seems so pathetic, drugs have really got a grip on him. Too bad, he's a good actor. Get well, Tom. Downey Jr. did it eventually.

22. Tom, you have had so so so many chances to fix your problem (disease--whatever). Crying won't get you out of it this time. Get help, do your time and show your family and the world that maybe you mean what you say. Look in the mirror and see what all those drugs and late nights have done to you. Had you not been a pampered 'star' you may have taken care of yourself and done what is right. Someone in your family needs to take an upper hand and make you stay in rehab until you are actually on the right path.

23. Quit playing tough guy parts if you are really a pussy at heart. Be a Man, like that line from Platoon "Take the Pain"...

You brought it on sir, and laughed at previous rehabs and Programs and probably those who were in both. So you could go back out and use again. You are one of those "unfortuantes" I guess that no matter the pain or consequences you continue to use.

You are not safe among law abiding people. Therefore, go straight to jail

26. I wish they could put him in a six month state rehab program. They are not easy, but that is what he really needs instead of sitting in a cell and dreaming of drugs. He really needs to get help for his addictions.

27. I agree with 26. He would be better served in a rehab instead of prision taking up a space a rapist or murderer should be sitting in.

28. I Hope and Pray the Judge gives Tom another chance. At his age, a stint in prison will ruin his chances to regain a successful carreer. I Hope the Judge considers this and allows Tom to get the rehab he needs and the opportunity to get his life back on line. I will keep Praying for you Tom. God Bless,

29. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that 99.99% percent of people sentenced to jail don't want to go. (the Girls Gone Wild guy is the only exception I can think of).
