Can Paris' Street Save Councilman's Job?

31. For quite some time, the TMZ website has been inundated with hypercritical postings regarding Paris Hilton and her family. These postings have outweighed any of the unprejudiced, constructive comments, or information serving the public interest; by a very long chalk. They have consisted, for the most part, of irrelevancies, assumptions, unadulterated poppycock, hypotheticals, and salacious smut.

Amongst this public onslaught, a few objective postings featured a catalogue of “facts” detailing the progression of events from the original apprehension of Paris to the legal proceedings, her non-compliance to judicial matters of form, et cetera, and finally to her incarceration. Although these “facts” cannot be denied, as they are on the court records, police files, and in ‘public information’, they are only part of the proceedings.

Public opinion is deduced from editorial controlled media reports. Media reports, for pragmatic purposes ( amongst others ), omit publishing entire proceedings; as in the Hilton case. Unpublished facts underpinning the basis of the judge’s final decision of law ( i.e., the conviction and sentence ) included the entire proceedings between the defence and prosecution, admissible medical or psychiatric evidence, and in all probability, pre-sentence reports, with recommendations, et cetera. These factors of the proceedings were quite conspicuously absent, subsequently public opinion was formed from only the limited known “facts”.

Paris was then incarcerated, after which some anomalous circumstance occurred shortly afterwards, that brought an additional wave of public abuse against her, the district attorney, and the sheriff. Those bent on assassinating the characters of others, in these circumstances, ought to refer to Article Four, Sec. 2, l.519-21, and Amendments, Article Five, ls. 645-646; of the The Constitution of The United States.

The American judicial procedures, I believe, would be based upon equitable principles and rules. And if any irregularities occur – as appeared to have happened in the Hilton case – the American jurists would be more than capable of letting justice be served - calmly and objectively - without any unnecessary scurrilous outbursts from an hysterical sector of the public.

Paris Hilton has been incarcerated for a misdemeanour, and for failure to observe an instruction of law. She did not commit a felonious crime; there was, fortunately, no victim, yet the apparent magnitude of public condemnation was grossly disproportionate to the offences. When are the anti-Hilton campaigners going to recognize that this matter has been dealt with, and move on to their next celebrity?

32. Send Michelle Delgadillo the LA city Prosecutors wife to jail. She drove a city vehicle on a suspended license had an accident and the tax payers paid for it. Now they are trying to lie and cover it up saying they didnt know she had a suspended license and no insurance. Hmmmmmm.. LIARS

33. There was a traffic warrant issued for me and I didn't even know it. My license was suspended by DMV and they never notified me. So it happens. But Paris signed a document stating she knew her license was suspended. I wish I had been given such a document, but I wasn't. Of course, Paris was asked to sign something she probably couldn't read with her high-school drop-out reading level about at third grade, so that was a little unfair, I guess, assuming the dumb-ass firecrotch could read something like that. Hopefully, her doctor explained her Valtrex prescription in detail, reading directions is WAY over her empty head.

Jack Weiss is a slimy cockroach, no wonder he is helping the Hilton insects, Jack's ass is in big trouble, and he figures some Hilton cash will flow his way. Cockroaches all of them, Weiss and the Hiltons.

34. Lame, herpes is a serious problem, I find it rather scary that you want the truth about Paris to go away. All those kids she had following her immoral life and a good many of them probably are suffering from STD's right now because Paris Hilton showed them how to be popular by being promiscuous. No, Paris's herpes is NOT going away, and Paris herself should be doing something very public about the seriousness of STD's and how herpes and other STD's are INCURABLE. And you, lame, think this is "old news?" If Paris wants to convince the world she is really trying to be a role model, let's see her tell kids how WRONG she was to show them that promiscuousness was a great way to live their lives. But we know Paris would never do that because she really hasn't changed and doing the right thing by her "fans" would never occur to Paris. She will be out strutting her fircrotch in various stages of undress again, a pathetic diseased sexpot once more and kids will think, hey, look at Paris, herpes isn't stopping her one bit. Come on Paris, I challenge you to do the right thing and warn kids about how serious herpes is. Show us you have changed, Paris, do more than just pose with a bunch of prayer books.

35. Rocky Delgedillo, not Jack Weiss, is directly responsible for the intrusion the media caused for Paris's neighbors. If Delgedillo's office had not publicized that the Sheriff's police car was on it's way over to pick Paris up, Paris's attorney could have competently driven her to the court building. But no-o-o-o-o, Rocky wanted to shame the Hilton family.

Yes, count me in, I agree that Michelle Delgedillo needs to go to jail for what she and Rocky did to Los Angeles taxpayers today. We don't want to hear that they are sorry. Jail her ass!

40. Gadillo's wife isn't the issue. She, like many have tried to escape financial persecution by not paying forced insurance costs which are highly controlled and manipulated. The city creates traps forcing people to speed and take short cuts in order to get to their destinations in a timely manner. We are trapped and stressed. She epitomizes the need for politicians and public servicants to release us from the bondage of the abuse and oppressive massive automotive industry. We are fined exhorbitant amounts for minor infractions, for broken parking meters (I paid serveral hundreds of dollars for broken meters, hidden signs and a hauled car when I had a cast on my leg and could not hobble to my car in time to move it and was forced to walk to the garage to retrieve it at the cost of over one hundred dollars though it was obvious I was temporarily disabled). There's no mercy from the automobile/transportation industry nor from the courts, the police, the politicians.

Rocky's wife is not the issue. The issue is that WEISS is a huge part of the problem because he has intentionally caused unnecessary traffic delays and traffic problems that will lead to a chain of events that will cause greater expenses to be passed on to drivers. They know how it works: traffic jams lead accidents, wasted time fuel, hiked insurance rates as a result. It all equals greater financial rewards for the city and perks for politicians. The police are a part of the problem. For instance, last week on the freeway a cleanup truck had a flashing light on his truck as he drove along the freeway with no blockage in front of him and no obvious reason for his light to flash. However, he successfully held up traffic for over 20 miles and caused massive conjestion. No police were there to stop him or to rush people past the point of congestion. At other times the police have zig-zagged and slowed all traffic for unknown and unseen reasons. They do not want us to know that they intentionally stop the normal flow of traffic on a daily basis in order to enrich the city. They do not help us, they hurt us. Big rigs pull stunts to stop traffic, blocking all lanes. Police evacuate vans claiming they are full of armed prison escapes or "terrorists" but we discover it's a "false alarm." They are playing us like a fiddle, extorting money from us via the manipulation of traffic patterns.

Weiss is a neocon tool, a servant of big oil, big business and assists them in frustrating and robbing us.

42. If it were not Paris' street he would not give a rats ass about the problem! I heard on CoutTV that Paris neighbors were trying to have her evicted. Her Grandfather probably paid him off just like he paid Sheriff Baca off to try and keep Paris from being kicked out of her neighborhood. I will laugh my ass off if Paris does get evicted! I am sick and tired of seeing her recieve special treatment because she is rich and famous. She has done nothing to deserve her fame. She has no talent and nothing to offer. Anyone who idolizes Paris has low expectations.

when I said "recalljackweiss guys are just as corrupt as anyone else" I was assuming they were just sinister crooks, mad because what they thought would be a private slush fund for their homeowners association got converted to a city fund to combat traffic. But if "Exotic Goddess" is any example then they're either lunatic anti-semites or just plain bananas!

45. To those who wish for Paris to be evicted. Allow me to point out that Paris owns her house, she does not rent it. She can not be evicted from her property. If her neighbors are suggesting eviction then I think they must be renters and therfore they should move and rent elsewhere if they are not happy in the neighborhood of Paris Hilton.

Certainly for constanly disturbing the peace, one might be forced ( after court rulings ) to sell and move but in this case the complaints are of paparazzi and not Paris herself disturbing the peace. Paris probably does not want press at her house either.

As for crowds of paparazzi, perhaps the complainers are just jealous. Most of LA wants to ba a star and most do not seem to be as gifted as Paris is at getting news press. I have even heard that Cameron complained but as a star herself she certainly knows that Paris like all other stars is looking for attention in the form of press and can not control when and where the press follows her. Were Cameron and the other neighbors complaining just using the Paris press to get their own name(s) out there this week?

These neighbors should focus on recalling the prosecutor as he is the one that caused the crowd of paparazzi to appear in their neighborhood. And everyone in LA should be walking with camaras in an effort to catch any member of the prosectors family or the judges family doing anything illegal. Then get it to the press!!!!!!
