Blake is a personal friend of mine, he is not gay by any stretch of the imagination, and he is 25 not 27. He performs with my son in the Seattle area and they've been friends for years. I do know that when there are rumors that two guys are together, and somebody goes to the trouble to crop one of them out of a picture and make up a lot of nonsense about the other and an underage girl, it reeks of disinformation and sends a pretty awful message to those who ARE gay and afraid to come out: better statutory rape than guys in love!

Of course it's frustrating to read hateful comments like PO's. But "defending" someone against "accusations" that he's gay just gives homophobes more power to hurt those we like and admire. Start treating rumors that a guy is dating single, adult John Doe as benign, the same way we treat rumors that he's dating single, adult Jane Doe, and the world will get better.

Cake is so much more believable. just cause two people go shopping together they're together. i must have a lot of boyfriends, dang. and umm, illegal. blake doesnt seem like the kind of guy to go for jordin. he just seemed very genuine and friendly to her. no sparks were flying between them, not that i saw. people will do anything for a story. love u blake!

68. Why is it that they are seen holding hands and everyone flies right to the idea that they are sexual. People can date and not have sex. It is only illegal if they are having sex. I think Jordin has a good head on her shoulders and can tell whether she is too good for a guy. Blake seems like a great guy so I think they are good for each other.

74. Idol winner who looks like her football player daddy in love with a guy who looks like he's stepped out of the cast of "Rent"? Sounds like publicity to me! Jordan Sparks, up until her AI win, has performed at numerous Christian and "Choose Life" events and has even cut a CD (sung backup for Michael W. Smith too!). Blake Lewis, on the other hand, was rumored to have a relationship with Chris "Timberfake" Richardson. and acted like a prima donna on the Idol set. We'll never really know the truth about these two lackluster talents, never gonna become another Kelly Clarkson or Fantasia.
