It's pretty nasty to tear apart a lovely, talented teenager for not being some Paris Hilton type. Suggesting a man might be gay, however, isn't necessariy ignorant- that depends on whether it's said in the spirit in which PO said the above, or in the spirit of those of us who think it'd be great if two great guys were happy together.

66. I liked that picture, They look more relaxed after all that craziness and spotlight on them on American Idol. Jordin Sparks looks cheerful with Blake Lewis. And Blake's look is comfortable yet edgy. I don't think that New Kids on the Block wore those kinds of outfits in their late '80s success period. Blake knows how to clash disjointed styles so very well, the long cargo pants and funny flip flops clashing with the purple shirt on top. He wore a lot of vintage clothing in his performances. I don't think they're even going together--the age difference is too far off for both of them.

68. I don't know or care if he's gay, straight, both, or neither.

I do know that when there are rumors that two guys are together, and somebody goes to the trouble to crop one of them out of a picture and make up a lot of nonsense about the other and an underage girl, it reeks of disinformation and sends a pretty awful message to those who ARE gay and afraid to come out: better statutory rape than guys in love!

Of course it's frustrating to read hateful comments like PO's. But "defending" someone against "accusations" that he's gay just gives homophobes more power to hurt those we like and admire. Start treating rumors that a guy is dating single, adult John Doe as benign, the same way we treat rumors that he's dating single, adult Jane Doe, and the world will get better.

Cake is so much more believable. just cause two people go shopping together they're together. i must have a lot of boyfriends, dang. and umm, illegal. blake doesnt seem like the kind of guy to go for jordin. he just seemed very genuine and friendly to her. no sparks were flying between them, not that i saw. people will do anything for a story. love u blake!

70. Why is it that they are seen holding hands and everyone flies right to the idea that they are sexual. People can date and not have sex. It is only illegal if they are having sex. I think Jordin has a good head on her shoulders and can tell whether she is too good for a guy. Blake seems like a great guy so I think they are good for each other.

71. Looks like the religious nerds and homophobes are on here fixated about people's sexual preferences (like it's any of their business). Blake and Jordin have a great friendship, some people just can't handle seeing a man and woman having a good friendship I guess.

PS Blake is not gay idiots, there's been plenty of his friends on the various websites attesting to that fact, including ex-girlfriends.

74. Jordin is a beautiful and incredibly talented girl. I bet every single one of you who are being so catty about her height and weight look aren't exactly beauty queens yourself. How would you like for someone to talk about your daughter that way? Sometimes I wonder what the world is coming to, people just don't seem to have any decency or compassion anymore.
