Celebrity Justice
NBC to TMZ -- How Dare You!

A rep with NBC told TMZ there was never anything to kill, because they never sealed the deal on a Paris interview.

Allison Gollust, Senior VP of NBC News Communications, told TMZ, "There's nothing to pull the plug on because we never committed to this."

But here's the deal. TMZ knows a producer was already assigned to the interview, which was supposed to air on "Today." Multiple sources tell us that camera people and associate producers were told to be ready, and that the piece would be shot in L.A. and edited in New York.

As TMZ first reported, honchos at the net told selected staffers today that the interview was dead. To that, Gollust said, "It can't be dead if it was never alive to begin with."

126. How come TMZ isn't reporting that ABC turned Hilton down even though she offered to do the interview for free? Same thing with NBC! Even Fox won't do it, which must be a new standard for them.

128. I've been on vacation so let me get this straight: NBC offered Paris One Million Dollars for an interview??? No wonder NBC is always third in the ratings. Why would anyone want to interview that dip stick? The Hilton's must be paying a fortune to get her on Larry King's show. It will be a sham, of course. Larry doesn't have the guts to really ask her the hard questions so it will be from a script that her PR people have written. Paris and her dopey family should go in for family therapy. All of them are such scuzz bags.

129. I KNOW WHAT PARIS HILTONS 1ST WORDS WILL BE WHEN SHE GETS OUT OF JAIL..............................."THAT WASN'T HOT!"

130. In have nothing against Larry King as a person, I'm sure he's a decent enough guy, but I don't think he's much of an interviewer for the most part. Any other network would be fine(except for Fox Noise, of course).
Oh, well, who cares, I guess, it's just Paris being interviewed, not someone with more substance. I do hope that she really does come out of all this with some maturity and responsibility.
