A Banner Year for Hanson!? Mmmkay...

Ten years after most people stopped listening to Hanson, the boys -- er, men now? -- are desperately trying to get back into your lives with a super-fun Internet contest! Please, contain your enthusiasm.

Isaac, Taylor and Zach will personally write a song about you (MmmmBob?) -- if you paste Hanson.net banners all over your personal site. Fan sites that get the most click-throughs to the Hanson site will be entered to win a song written by the funky, hunky musical gods.

Of course, with Hanson, there are no real losers -- those who don't win the grand (?) prize, will still get to keep their ultra-mega-teenarific banners. Can it get any better?
Hanson
And a little fact about the boys which you may not know; we hear that they were the worst Oprah guests ever! You might have thought it was a demanding Babs, the silent Liz Taylor or even the couch-jumping Tom Cruise. Our sources tell us that in the twenty years that Oprah's been on the air, the Hanson brothers were the most difficult guests the show has ever hosted, hands down.

TMZ, bringing you tasty tidbits each and every day.

5. Unfortunately, because of mmmBop, their real talent won't be realized. They really ARE great musicians. And, no, I'm not a teenybopper fan...I'm older than dirt! My daughter was a fan and I attended several of their concerts and met them twice. They're extremely polite and sweet. And the concerts were amazing. It's a shame that we tend to judge people by a one time thing and can't be open enough to rethink.

By the way, they're all married and have four children amongst them!

8. What was the Big Cow Oprahs problem with the Hansons? That they were young kids back than? Good Grief, that Woman finds difficulty in everything except eating a Cheeseburger in front of her full time Life and Health Coach Bob Green.

I find her Best Friend Gail to be the most difficult no talented sidekick since Spiro Agnew...

Shut your big trap Oprah...or you'll break into a Millon Little Pieces. You were the only one in the Country defending that author until you finally listened to your "advisors" and clued your dumb ass in----and now you want to pass the Hansons off as the most difficult guests ever in 20 years.

10. Excuse me, but I (bar none) have been the most difficult guest on Oprah and I'm just as famous as the Hanson's! :D Oprah still won't take my calls! She acts as if she's never heard of me. The only ones who seem to care are Andy Dick and Gummy Bear Davis, and even they are getting to be shaky friends.

11. Most difficult guests? I am sure that this is straight from Oprah's mouth. Three artist's who have never been to jail, never been arrested, married nice girls and still are making music more than 10 years after they started: they must be has-beens.

Rock on guys! Hanson Rules!

By the way, if the contest is so lame, why is TMZ talking about it?

12. None of them tried to commit suicide, they aren't the hockey guys, and I doubt they were anywhere near the worst guests ever. I've met them once and they were really normal guys.

15. If you people think they are such losers then why did you bother posting about them? They are a great band who are still coming out with amazing music.
