It's Not Easy Being (Tom) Green

Tom GreenIf you were out at Hollywood hotspot Republic over the weekend, you might have seen Tom Green getting dissed at the front door -- at least one of our staffers did.

Green's agent called TMZ and told us what we didn't see -- Tom partying it up inside Republic with his agent for an hour and a half before walking outside. As Tom left, he saw some friends in the front of the line who were getting rejected. The agent says Tom went to the front and tried unsuccessfully to get them in, and then he left.

By the way, the agent added Greene has two TV offers.

It's the people who buy into celebrity gossip that are not so bright.

(Did someone actually say he was doing a "Canadian version of Jackass" on here?!?? Does that mean Ren and Stimpy were doing an animal version of South Park?!?? ) If you're going to follow pop-culture, at least get your facts straight!

I remember watching Tom Green back when his show was on MTV it was god damn unique, he was more original than any comedian i've ever seen. personally he's a good looking guy, and for all of you that made fun of his looks whens the last time you looked in the mirror and felt proud of your face, your figure. you sit here on TMZ gossiping about people who couldn't care less about you, how many times has the actual star themself shown up on these forums to declare their side? and believe me, he is famous and not because of having cancer or being with Drew Barrymore. he is famous because he is loyal to his fans, he has an amazing online show, and if you watch it it'll probably make you laugh harder than a day of Comedy Central

(P.S) come to think of it, i have trouble remember who Drew Barrymore is, oh that's it i remember she's the actress who dated Tom Green

68. There's no such thing as bad press. If something as tiny and inane and this can get Tom more publicity - whether it's true or not - then more power to him. Talk to more doormen, Tom. You'll be more famous on the internets every time!

69. Why don't you guys get out there and write about something productive instead of constantly slagging off people, or writing innocuous stories about where they ate a salad. You contribute little, if anything, compared with people like Tom Green. I'm a little fed up with this culture of build a celebrity up then destroy them. It's pretty shameful.

71. tom green is one of the most creative comedians and all-around entertainers our generation has known. his relationship with mtv and drew barrymore isn't relative to his career today (so stop the irrelevant dissing) - and he has launched a successful internet television show from his house in california.

73. Wow guys way to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Seriously if you don't like the guy then why read about him or take even the smallest interest in him? So he tried to get a guy bumped up in line woopdeefreakindoo we are human we all do it. My advice....get over yourselves and move on to the important matters. 75. TMZ is whack. Tom is a funny guy who made us laugh over his stupidity sevral times. Just cause he hasn't WOWed the world in awhile doesn't mean he should be hated on for being himself, stupid! Props to Green for being wild, stupid, & unpredictable!
