Lets Get This Party Started
Paris to Jailbirds -- Stay in Halfway Hilton!

Paris Hilton says her big plan after getting out of jail is to build a halfway house for ex-jailbirds -- and adds that she doesn't want to "surround myself" with the "bad people" from her pre-jail life. Sayonara, Greasy Bear-san?

The about-to-be-liberated Paris tells Ryan Seacrest (via Us) that she's going to build a "transitional home" for just-released inmates, somewhere they can "get food and clothes on their backs" to stop the "bad cycle" of in-and-out behavior. As for her own life, Paris says she wants a new social start, saying she's done with "those types of people."

Paris, as TMZ told you last week, will be shedding that orange jumpsuit tomorrow, but as People reports, none too soon -- she pressed her hands on the glass separating her mother and herself trying to hug her.

Foxy on Beatdown – I Wasn't Even There!

Foxy Brown, in a bizarre twist on a mugging she allegedly suffered Saturday morning, now says she wasn't even at the projects where the beatdown went down.

Brown denies to the New York Post that she was even at the Pink Houses projects in East New York, where the crime supposedly took place, but her alleged attacker, Roshawn Anthony, described in news reports as a "stripper," is still being held on $50,000 bond.

Anthony and several other women are accused of pulling Foxy from her car and beating her before stealing her Louis Vuitton bag, which included cash, credit cards, and a hearing aid, and they ripped out strands of her weave.

Rosie Passes on "Price"

Rosie O'Donnell has decided against the "Price is Right" hosting gig -- despite a "substantial" offer from CBS. FOX News reports that the former "View"-er took her meeting with network suits and they offered her the job, but balked at having to relocate to L.A. to do the show. Rosie was steadfast about staying in New York, and had wanted to tape several shows a day in order to avoid having to spend significant time in Hollywood, but this wasn't in the cards.

Party Favors: Cameron Apologizes for Commie Carry-All ... Mandy Moore Reads Lyrics on BlackBerry ... "Evan" – Almighty Bomb?

Cameron Diaz told Peruvians she was sorry for carrying a bag with a Communist emblem and slogan that evoked horrific memories of the Shining Path insurgency of the 1980s and 1990s that left nearly 70,000 people dead. "I did not realize the potentially hurtful nature of the slogan printed on it," she says. ... Mandy Moore is a busy girl, and sometimes forgets her lyrics. Thank heavens she has a BlackBerry, from which she read the lyrics during a gig the other night at NYC hotspot Stereo, says Page Six. ... "Evan Almighty" took in $32 million, enough to win the weekend box-office, but one analyst tells the L.A. Times that the result could be "a disaster of biblical proportions," given the film's $125 mil budget.

46. paris acts like she has been in jail for 20yrs. and it has only been 3 weeks. what would the spoiled brat do if she had or say if she had to spend twenty years in jail. 3 weeks is nothing. let her take a whiff at 10 or more yrs

47. I don't beleive a word right now that comes out of Paris mouth, or written for her by her reps.
Only time will tell, not 23 days, it takes months, years for people like her to truly change.

Go Away Paris, & grow up.

48. Hey, maybe Paris could do The Price is Right . . . . eh?

49. #14 Lucky,
I have to agree with you. Harvey was good. He did an excellent job filling in for Larry King.

50. Good for Paris. Do something good with your hundreds of millions.

CBS was never considering Rosie. She is a hateful, fat, miserable old cow and she will ruin anything she "takes over".

Cameron Diaz is an stupid, insensitive communist.

51. I think Paris wants us to believe she's the person in her movie Bottoms Up:P whatever...

52. Paris neglected to mention that there will be 2 doormen and a velvet rope
preventing any commoners from entering and disturbing her celebrity convicts.

53. Anyone remember Paris and Nicky's claim that they would build orphanages for the child victims of Hurricane Katrina? They supposedly wanted to give back because they are fortunate enough to be able to do so (their words). Anybody heard anything on the progress of those orphanages???

54. Why does Foxy need a hearing aid?? Did she already get beat down?? Jumping people is really lame way of going about your business. Trash.

55. Rosie is a BIG FAT PIG!

56. If Paris is really interested in making a difference and not being such a useless human being, she should talk to Angelina Jolie. She is trying to make the world a better place with her name and money.

57. those saying Rosie is lying....uh.....really??

Does it not make sense that if Rosie were just making everything up to try and promote herself that CBS would have said so? Hell, it only took NBC 2 days to deny the million dollar Paris interview, even though everyone knew it was true.....CBS has had more than 2 weeks to deny the Rosie mumblings...and haven't.

Clearly there's some basis in fact there.....

And on Paris:

Misskittyhead is right. This isn't the first time Paris has pledged to do good works....but, if she follows through, it will be a first time for that. Perhaps the fact that this time her words will forever haunt her due to the level of publicity will hold her to it. We'll see.

The whole Christians love everyone bit is nice enough, coco, but it's just not the world we live in. Christians widely condemn anyone whose actions they do not agree with. Don't believe me? Two words: gay marriage. WTF difference does it make to anyone else who gets a piece of paper? None....it's just hypocritical bs. The whole "forgive and love thy fellow man" bit is a nice banner phrase.....it just isn't true.

Oh, and, coincidentally, people, copy into Word or something with a spell checker -- you look like 3rd graders when you misspell things like disdain and neutered.

58. Cameron Diaz's faux pas was not that she didn't understand the full history of Peru before visiting there. Her faux pas started when she bought that bag in the first place, without fully understanding its implications. I've seen even more offensive goods being sold and worn unwittingly by Americans, for example, cultural revolution 'figurines' showing people being tortured sold in chic boutiques in the States. One of the biggest reasons these goods are sold in China is that they're popular with tourists. A Chinese person wouldn't be caught dead wearing that bag. One lesson for Cameron Diaz and any other clueless shoppers: don't buy things that support dictators and wars! Amazing that it needs to be spelled out here...

59. Rosie passed on Price because she doesn't want to leave NY. Since her departure the View has lost 500,000 viewers. The ONLY factor tv execs consider is money- where Rosie goes viewers follow. You nitwits who think you're somehow privy to the true story are morons.

Posted at 12:33PM on Jun 25th 2007 by I know, you don't

60. So what is this train wreck "Foxy" Brown's talent again? Looking and acting like a cheap piece of ghetto trash? Brings to mind the old saying, you can take the ******out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the ******.
