63. I actually feel kind of sorry for Paris now because it's obvious she hasn't changed at all and that she really doesn't have a clue how much of a public joke she is. Apparently it was her dad who thought up and coordinated the whole perfume line, and just slapped her name on it.

Also, does she really understand the concept of branding? Brands gain popularity because they represent something to people - McDonald's represents All-American family fare, Apple represents cool gadgets, Proctor and Gamble represents quality household items, Holiday Inn represents affordable comfort away from home, etc. What exactly does Paris stand for? She seems to represent a sort of self-indulgent plastic selfish bimbo culture, and the jury's still out as to whether this fascination with Hollywood trainwrecks is going to withstand the test of time.

I think for a while after that skeevy sex video came out people really felt sorry for her and wanted to give her a chance to clear her name but she's totally squandered all that goodwill with all the mindless partying and red-carpet posing. And now with all her tantrums and attempts to use her money to thwart the justice system, I think people are looking at her as something of a freak the way we follow Michael Jackson's every move because he's just so outside the norm. This may be a money maker, but it isn't exactly a 'brand'. The lack of respect is going to destroy her self-esteem . . . I don't think any amount of money or attention ever makes up for feeling like people are laughing at you.

And her parents have their own issues, so it's kind of sad to see her making these bad choices . . . it seems like Hollywood is kind of a vicious place where people will use you if $ can be made. If she doesn't get a driver, I wouldn't be surprised to see her back in jail for more dui's in the future . . .

If you have a DVR that is set to tape any show you normally watch, and she is set to appear on it, make sure you stop the recording of that particular show that night, because the networks can tell what we watch in that way. Also e-mail the heck out of Larry King and CNN. Especially tonight, don't watch, because that damn Harvey Levin, parasite's lawyer and a sheriff are set to be on the show without Larry. Larry does parasite Wednesday. I hate harvey levin for always kissing the Hilton ass. He's on the payroll. All of this is a big PR stunt to make (fool) us into liking the Hilton name again.

70. I am forecasting a Paris Hilton brand designer line of snazzy jumpsuit apparel. Paris is a fashion trend setter and with all the talk about her strutting her stuff in an orange jail jumpsuit, I would not be surprised if she parlays her jail wardrobe into a trendy new fashion. But then stylish jumpsuit apparel would not really be something new. Who can forget ABBA and Agnetha and Frida's dazzling designer jumpsuits? Mamma Mia!

i just realized that the best place she could have expressed her new opinions about herself would have been on the E enternainment news show. because they care. they would have been best suited for "the interview with P.H."
