91. Parents across the country should LEARN from this in the sense that CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WATCH SHOWS INTENDED FOR ADULT ENTERTAINMENT!!!! Millions of parents of middle school children will be trying to explain this one tonight. My 7 year old has learned alot about WWE from others at school but HE DOES NOT WATCH IT!! He caught a moment of it on the news when he came through the TV room as I watched it last night. He noticed it, he said Mom that was a wrestler and just kind of moved on. It wasn't about the fact that he died, it was the fact that he was on the news.
My 12 year old nephew on the other hand is so confused right now. Now his parents have to try and explain to him why a daddy would smother his boy. A father that was an icon to him (my nephew).

92. I think that he was a good wrestler and good person just something went wrong. No one will ever actually know what he was thinking or why it happened all they can do is guess. None of them deserved to die and its very sad that they did and I am glad that the wrestlers did what they did lastmight. Yes it was before the facts about what might have happened came out but he was a wrestling hero and people looked up to him for all that accomplished or did in wresling. He was still a good person but had some flaws and something just went wrong with him and hopefully someone will find out what trully happened. Rest in piece Chris, your wife, and your son.

93. although this is a sad situation, not only for his surviving family, his young and old fans, BUT we all need to remember that he had two other children from a previous realtionship.. they too are suffering and need to be prayed for.....

my son watches wrestling each time it comes on .. my husband and i limit it to matches only, none of the bikini or bra and panty ones and not the talking that goes on in between the matches, just the some what clean matches themselves.... these wrestlers are truely sad.. true they may have known what was going on behind the sences with benoit and his wife.. but we all need to remember that we are not to judge others and that we dont really knwo what we would do in taht situation until we are in it ourselves....

RIP benoit family.. and to the surviving benoit children and family you are in my prayers!

96. I always love it when uneducated people jump to foolish conclusions before any of the facts are really in. Can you really consider a one time incident, from 4 years ago a major cause for this tragedy? And as it stands right now, there is no link to steroids, people only bring them up since he was a wrestler. I think people need to see this for what it was, a tragedy all around. 3 people needlessly lost their lives over something that we will never know the full truth about. I feel horrible for the Benoit family and all their friends. Not only have they lost people they loved but in a horrible way that they will never fully comprehend.

98. WWE made a mistake with the 3 hour "tribute" to him last night....as said before, they should have waited until the facts were in. Alot of kids watch that show, they should have made sure what was going on before they "memorialized" him!

100. it is odd but i knew he would be the next to go, after eddie, and owen it seemed his destiny thier deaths almost destroyed him, i believe he was to much a perfectionist, to much a loner and controling personality, he was my idol mainly because he had passion for his job, but to me the number one most important sin you can commit is to murder your own child for that i am devastated, here is my idol and to have the feelings of shame for him and even hatred is hard to deal with. People are over looking the fact that he was important to them in a way just as lennon was important to people who only heard his music but never meet him and idol is an idol but if this turns out to be that he did kill his child then the person i idolized was evil.

101. Sad, sad, sad. No matter what.....3 lives where taken from this world one being a young child just begining to live his life. I am in utter shock over this! Sounds like the signs were there previously now looking back. Hindsight is 20/20. If only his friend Chavo who stayed at his house a week ago could of picked up on the warning signals........................... maybe at least a mom and son would be alive today. Hmmmmm.........

Look back as far as 2003, He didn't just snap. His PR machine kept his abusive side out of the public eye is all.
Goes to show we can't really know anyone until we live with them.

she filed 4 ...that's f-o-u-r ... YEARS ago for divorce...restraining orders/protective orders are pretty run-of-the-mill and had more to do with custody issues and family court one-up-manship (as most people w/kids who've divorced know the family law games played out in courts...so give it a rest!)

SHE returned to him, reconciled, and dismissed all claims within 3 - that's t-h-r-e-e...MONTHS LATER...NOTHING RECENT (hear that, tmz???)

SHE HAD 2 OTHER MARRIAGES BEFORE THIS ONE!! She wasn't a novice to marriage, family law courts, etc....she knew her options; she played her game, too. She was greedy, I'll betcha...else, why go back?

I'm sure your Moms would be REAL proud to see the kind of language you post in in open online forum. My son is 31, and I'd still kick his behind if I saw him post some of the filth some people post on here. But, because he was brought up knowing better, I doubt he would ever do anything so totally classless to begin with. Think about it, F-word posters, would you want your parents, your spouse, or your kids to see the garbage you post??????
