362. You’re right #83. No one should ever make excuses like we are hearing on this site. A murder is just that, a murder. If he had NOT taken his life then people would be saying something different with him alive just sitting in jail.

People are funny when it comes to the people that they want to defend. When you murder, you are a murder. When you murder suicide, then you are still a murder. But you are one that sadly and sickly pulled someone else into your demented world. And now they have NO world because of you, the murderer.

363. as a former wrestler i can say im shocked about chris benoit of all people committing this terrible act. on the contrary in my opinion the world lost a wonderful athlete and i for one belive until we know all the facts can not judge and of course roids were present he had broken his neck in the past and it aids in the healing and recovery

367. We are huge wrestling fans at my house. Especially my 12 year old and husband. We are shocked and dismayed at this horrible tragedy which befell the Benoit family.

Last Tuesday while watching ECW my husband commented on Benoit looking like a caged animal behind very tortured eyes. I've thought he looked like that for sometime. For whatever reasons that are not ours to judge or understand, the man snapped.

He was a hero to many, but his actions were cowardly and selfish. I think the man was an a amazing talent in his chosen field but now all of this will be mostly what is remembered for.
Such a horrible tragic ending.

New news on wwe.com and abc news shows he saw a docor on the day of the killing and the pressure of his son and his illness may have been to much for him to handle. his son had fragile x which is a birth defect with a weak x cromisome. it symtoms are almost like autism and effect normal groth. the family has been dealing with this rare disease for years. their is no excuse for what he has done but it does shed light on his motive. even though steroids may have played a role in his depression, dont blame steroids for what he has done. his doctor on the day of the killing said he seemed "calm and rational" which is not a symtom of roid rage.

my blessing go out to anyone effected by this tragedy

370. the wrestling world was shocked by the news heard on monday night, and horrified with the additional news heard on tuesday. we all wonder what was going through his mind at that time to make him do something like that, but we will never know. everyone has there breaking points and this was his. his was just uncontrollable. he will truly be missed in the wrestling world and to all loyal fans he touched in some way. my thoughts and prayers are with them all.

372. I think this is, by far, one of the sickest things I have heard in a while. And, even sicker is that people are still defending and idolizing this "thing" - I cannot for the life of me call him a "man", And, if the mother was also aware of the "human growth hormone" or steroid injections to a 7 year old child who wasn't big enough for Daddy, well, I question that as well. However, she nor the child deserved this....no one deserves anything like this. I don't think that steroids were the main player in this sicko's game though. The murders were very methodical, thought-out, premeditated, over the course of possibly 3 days. We are talking about a man who had to have testosterone injections due to his low male hormone level! He killed his wife one day, spent the day with his son, then killed him. Thank God he had the decency to kill himself!

There was no indication of "roid rage" in the numerous text messages he so calmly and coherently sent to so many people, or when, probably as an afterthought, placed Bibles next to his victims. An interview with Bret "Hitman" Hart, who knew Benoit from the time he was 10 years old even said he would be surprised if steroids played a part in the murders. He eluded to "the demons" Benoit was fighting. Obviously the "demon" was Benoit himself!

I thank God I have never allowed my kids to watch any form of this fake sport, or look up to people like this. I think the WWE may have taken its final beating!

1. his wife killed the son called him told him to come home for an emergency he gets enraged at the fact that she killed his son.

2. They argued she tried to kill him he got her down and accidentally killed her, he thought of an O.J. incident and couldn't bear the fact that his kid would have to be in the system, killed him, then with the remorse killed himself.

3. SOMEONE ELSE DID IT!!

But, no one will like any of those because as we can tell from the Duke lacrosse case the police are always right.
