Cops Give Gruesome Details of Benoit Killing Spree

Officials have confirmed the horrifying details in the deaths of wrestling superstar Chris Benoit and his family.

In a statement by a member of the Fayetteville Sheriff's Department, "Mr, Benoit had sometime, possibly Friday, murdered his wife by asphyxiation. Sometime shortly after that, the same for his son Daniel and sometime later ... committed suicide by hanging himself in the basement area."

According to officials, Nancy was bound at the wrists and feet, with a towel wrapped around her body, and blood was found underneath her head. A Bible was also reportedly found near each one of the bodies.

Police have also confirmed that prescription drugs and steroids were found in the house.

Benoit was found hanging in a weight room in his house. Cops say that he used a cord from one of his workout machines as a makeshift noose. Authorities also believe that Benoit died on Saturday.

This is a sad deal.To think that kids look up to these steroid junkies as heroes.I hope he Rots in Hell.WE as gans need to send a strong message to these wrestlers that take drugs by boycotting the shows until they show us that they are worthy or our attention.But many of you will still watch and feed them money so they can continue this behavior.If you watch,your part of the problem .ROT IN HELL BENOIT!!!!!!!!.

52. Steriods, guns, anger, stupidity. Who deserves the actions perpetrated on them from some drug crazed, drunk or otherwise sick human being? No one!!

None of the above items are conducive to living a normal life. They all create a false sense of power. All will bring a family down and one may wind up in jail or a murder-suicide of the family. How sad.

May God bless their families and ease hte grief and suffering flung upon them by Chris's actions when it all could have been avoided.

A persons tongue can overload their bootie if not careful and cause undue stress on other family members if not fear of death if in an abusive relationship.

53. There is something strange here. Until they give us the final details we must restrain of judging anybody. I found weird that he tied up his wife to kill her, why? He is strong enough to kill her without restraing her.- How about if he got home and found his wife and child dead? And then kill himself?

DNA will tell us the truth. Let's wait.

54. He might have been a great wrestler and entertainer, but you don't ever know someone through a tv set. Obviously, this is the person he was...or, at least, became. This is him, unfortunately, but true. His wife and especially child did not deserve this torture and I hope he's burning crisp in hell.

56. If Benoit was taking steriods, it was his decision. I can't see anyone holding him down and forcing him to do so. I hope all you Beniot fans who are crying crocidile tears for him will take the time to shed a few more for an innocent 7 yr old child. Regardless of your marital issues, you are supposed to love and protect your children. You don't kill them. Hell is too good for Beniot.

57. I guess I'm still in "shocked" mode. I'm so surprised to see that this is indeed what happened, and yet the WWE did this 3-hour long "tribute" to him and his family before knowing that he indeed killed his entire family and then himself? What's up with that?

I have to say that I "was" a Benoit fan, but obviously I guess I hoped that he would have gotten the help he really needed before something like this happened.

What a waste.

59. Yeah they found anabolic steroids in his house, so what?? As long as they are prescribed by a doctor they are legit. And if half of you assholes knew anything he took them because of the SEVERAL NECK and BACK surgeries he's had. You dumbasses. How sad this day for all who are WWE fans...what a sad thing to be done to a small child and what drugs are doing to our country...I think everyone who is into to any kind a sport should be tested for any drug..they are sending the wrong message by taking "roids" to kids who look up to the pro wrestlers.
