FOX Reporter Takes Cheap Shot at the Hiltons

FOX News correspondent Jonathan Hunt inexplicably brought Kathy and Rick Hilton's parenting skills into question during coverage of Paris Hilton's exit from jail early this morning. Low blow, no?

Hunt suggested that the Hiltons "might want to question" the way they raised their daughter. He also raised an unnecessary eyebrow about what Paris had planned for her first night of freedom, asking, "Is this a party which is going to see a lot of alcohol served? Is this Paris Hilton embarking down the same path that led her to jail in the first place?"

The better question might be, "Is this a cable news reporter talking out of his a**?"

243. Paris is a product of her parents and I agree with the reporter 100%. Look at what her dear Dad was trying to do with the selling of his daughter for a coming out party in Vegas. Hellooooooo!! I know that the owner of TMZ is a friend of the Hilton's and has tried to show it on every post that deals with poor Paris and her behavior. I just wished she would go away for good!!

245. Harvey Levin sounds like a "Parisite" to me! The Hiltons have done
a horrible job with their daughters (it remains to be seen about
their sons.) Their daughter goes to jail and they are "proud" of her?
She can't finish high school, she had to get a GED? She didn't
attend college when she has every financial resource to have done so.
She doesn't benefit society, when people as wealthy as these folks
have a responsibility to do so. She was obviously having a
drug withdrawal in court (Harvey and her parents would have us believe
it was prescription drugs, except TMZ has shown her snorting
street drugs). Then Kathy Hilton can't get enough of her
daughter's deflected notoriety sitting there in a bright red
sweater, with her window down the whole time, rather than shielding
her daughter. Nikky is partying while her sister is in jail ~ rather
unseemly, I would think. Yeah, I would say they are pretty lousy
parents. Frankly, Fox News stateld it correctly. Kathy Hilton is a
ridiculous person and throwing a party to celebrate your daughter
getting out of jail on a drunk driving charge is bizarre!

247. It's interesting that TMZ took such offense to this very accurate comment on the Hiltons. Wondering if the same amount of outrage would be expressed by Mr. Levin's staff if the reporter was talking about Ms. Spears parents? Money talks doesn't it?

God Bless This Reporter For Having The Guts To Tell The Truth: This, in a climate where smiling news anchors, from national to local news broadcasts, were leading their news coverage with the staged red carpet like release of Paris Hilton--which looked like an grossly inappropriate self congratulatory party, considering the circumstances surrounding Ms. Hilton's arrest and incarceration.

Further, I am shocked and highly dismayed with Larry King's actions concerning his personally kicking Michael Moore off of his show,,,in order for him to do an interview with Paris Hilton instead??? Yes, this is the same Michael Moore who is fighting for better health care for all Americans, as profiled in his new movie documentary "Sicko"!!! With all this press hype going on, you would have thought Christ had returned, not the tawdry convicted drunk driver which is Paris Hilton!!!

Shame on the American Press!!!
