FOX Reporter Takes Cheap Shot at the Hiltons

Click to return to TMZ.comFOX News correspondent Jonathan Hunt inexplicably brought Kathy and Rick Hilton's parenting skills into question during coverage of Paris Hilton's exit from jail early this morning. Low blow, no?

Hunt suggested that the Hiltons "might want to question" the way they raised their daughter. He also raised an unnecessary eyebrow about what Paris had planned for her first night of freedom, asking, "Is this a party which is going to see a lot of alcohol served? Is this Paris Hilton embarking down the same path that led her to jail in the first place?"

The better question might be, "Is this a cable news reporter talking out of his a**?"

61. It's interesting...well, actually more than interesting...that TMZ questions something as some kind of low blow that most of the rest of the world thinks is correct commentary on how this girl (correction: woman) came to be who she is and why she acts that way.

62. Reporters are just that-reporters, they report the news not make the news, your opinion about Paris and her parents is none of your business and you should just keep your opinions to yourself.
Bad job, tone it down FOX reporters. You say that you just report the news then say you decide, why don't you practice what you advertise and what has made you a good, fair and balanced news organization?

63. In case you haven't heard Bill Zanker President and Founder of "The Learning Annex" has offered Paris Hilton one million dollars to teach a one hour class on "Building your own Brand." They are offering Paris even more money than Donald Trump has been paid as their star instructor! The story is at TMZ.com and is titled "Professor Paris." You can also find a similar article at Thesuperficial.com. I think that this is totally ridiculous considering the fact that Paris is not only a high school dropout but also writes like a first grader! I think Bill Zanker is a complete idiot! You know the old saying "A Fool and his money will soon part!" I would like to know what Paris is qualified to teach? What has she accomplished on her own? Bill refers to Paris as a Brilliant Entrepeneur! What is so brilliant about Paris? Her lack of education? Her handwriting?Her amateur porn video? Lets not forget the fact that she was totally irresponsible and ended up in jail for violating her probation on more than one occasion! I think that everyone should email this Bill Zanker and tell him what we think of Paris Hilton teaching a class for a million dollars! Maybe if he recieves enough emails it will be like her Million Dollar interview with NBC! CANCELED! Please everyone send your emails to williamz@learningannex.com ASAP! 67. The article says that the comments came from a "FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT."

While I DO AGREE with him, the guy is a REPORTER not the MORALS/CHARACTER POLICE. He had no right to offer his commentary and/or personal opinion about the Hilton's.

Anybody at 26 years old drives with a suspended license and gets caught TWICE is dimwitted & comes from a dsyfunctional family. Money flows,,,,, Alcohol flows.... Drugs flows... What the hell does Mama & Papa Hilton do to earn money? Just receive a trust from Grandpa Hilton. Or does Paris's antics support them. Hello, Mr. Hunt certainly raised the right questions. 70. Oh come on, this is not the first time someone in the media has joked or laughed at the entire Hitlon soap opera.

Harvey Levin was on Fox weeks back & made funny comments, CNN, Showbix, etc........and most local news shows have done the same.
