Paris in "High Spirits"

As Paris Hilton made her way out of Lynwood, she shook a few hands and hugged a few deputies before jumping into her parents' waiting SUV.

Sources tell TMZ that Paris was in "very high spirits" as she left and couldn't believe she was finally free. We're even told that a few deputies were sad to see her go. *tear*

Paris made her way past the crowd of photogs before finally hugging her mom as she leaned out the window of her SUV.

Once inside the car, Paris rolled down the window and waved to the photogs and she couldn't stop smiling! She gushed, "I'm great ... Thank you for your support."

46. Hopefully now that she is out of jail life and reality can turn back to normal. I however have a question she went in with shoulder lenght hair and came out with a long pony tail????....hmmmm......interesting. I can understand her being happy about leaving prison but that smile just proves what everyone already knows that 23 days have not really made a difference. Nevertheless, I guess we shall just have to wait and see.....

49. Paris did her time...No one knows what she has gone through the last 23 days, unless you have been in her shoes. I am glad she is home with her family and I am sure she has a lot to be thankful for, especially her FREEDOM!
She had a lot of time to think and reflex on her life. I have faith that she has learned a lesson and her choices from this day forward will be good ones.
Good Luck Paris I wish you the best!

50. #39 you should never be ashamed to be an AMERICAN! Just because Paris is free and the press is covering it, shouldn't make you ashamed to be an AMERICAN nothing should. We live in the greatest country. And yes people are dying for us, it would be sad if those fighting in Iraq heard that you were ashamed to be an AMERICAN..News is News... but being ashamed to be an AMERICAN is sad. Paris did her time... but you live in AMERICAN and your ashamed??
God Bless You and God Bless America

51. Uh, #41'you're all jealous' - Most 'Poor trailer trash' don't own computers. A differing opinion doesn't mean a person is poor, or trash. That is not a rational statement, and makes you appear dimwitted and prone to personal attacks when you merely disagree. You also stated 'they can't stand the wealthy' and 'have nothing' ; just more of the same ridiculous low I.Q., shallow and arrogant, empty assumptions, making you appear to have a vitriolic agenda. (vitrioilic - look it up...) Finally you state that a 'life of privilege is never going to happen to them'. Some of 'them' no doubt currently already have better lives. Plus you cannot pretend to know what fate has in store for anyone's future. Plus 'better' is not always about huge incomes, as Paris herself would tell you right now. She is ecstatic to be out of jail. She might tell you that freedom and family is happiness. Your statement belies a vindictive, narrow little view of life, and is immature, lacking in insight, and just plain silly. How sad that you think life is just about cash. One look at Ms. Hilton's face will tell you that it's not. You need to grow up.

53. Dear Paris: Use everything you've experienced and make a difference in the world. You can do it, no matter what has happened in the past. Ignore the naysayers.

54. Oh, for God's sake, this fool was in the can for a few weeks, not newly rescued from some survivalist hillbilly's kidnap cult/sex camp in some brutal alien outpost! All this exuberance seems a little excessive. In the pic, she and the mother are posed like lovers. Now, how sick is that?? Paris, knock off this transparent fresh-scrubbed giddiness and go back to being the sullen, degraded slut your admirers love and need.
