Sizemore -- 16 Months My Ass!

Actor Tom Sizemore got his16 month prison sentence cut nearly in half today, after a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge gave him 213 days of credit for time he spent in jail, and residing in two live-in drug programs.

But the good news didn't stop there for Sizemore -- according to Deputy District Attorney Sean Carney, it's likely that he'll only end up spending a total of about 4 1/2 months behind bars.

Sizemore, who did not appear in court today, was found guilty of violating his probation in a 2004 methamphetamine conviction.

16. He needs long term lock down rehab outside of his party zone. I don't think he is done yet however, it will not surprise me if they find him dead within the next few years. He is getting to old and unhealthy to handle to many more binges.

20. I just love this guy - I hope he gets and stays clean - he is a really good actor and seems like a nice guy who is very easily addicted to everything and the wrong type of folks .. good luck to him ...... hate to see him waste another opportunity to get it right.

22. Tom didn't get any special treament in his sentence. In California IF you are on Probation & violate THEN when you get sentence for that Violation you are entitle to ALL the time you spent in Jail prior to being released on Probation. The same thing happened to me, I got a 16 month prison (different crimes has different amounts of time) BUT in California 16 months is the LEAST/LESS amount of time you can get to be sent to STATE PRISON not to the COUNTY JAIL!!! After all was said & done I was only in Prison for about 4 months as well - WE CALL IT "A TURN-AROUND" meaning that the sheriff dept will transport you to Prison & once you are processed, which includes medical check out, dental check out, counselor evaluation ect.....and then (issued a STATE Number) you are PAROLED!

23. A sad fact is that if you choose to kill yourself with drugs, you can. Mr. Sizemore has been in many rehabilitation programs and nothing has worked. If he does not find a program that successfully rehabilitates him, he's going to die. I truly wish that someone in his family could find the drug prevention program that finally makes a difference for him, before it is too late. The length of his jail sentence is meaningless in the larger scope of his tragic addiction.

24. Tom Sizemore needs a good ol' fashion ass-kicking! He's a bully onscreen and most likely the reason he portrays these characterizations so authentically is because that's him in real life. Someone step up and instead of implementing a scared-straight approach try a kicked-ass approach. I would like to volunteer, but unfortunately I'm not violent enough. How about a pro wrestler? There is no one in Hollywood, none of his peers, who are up to the job. Name one tough guy in today's cinema.... Chicken-wing Brad Pitt? Height-challenged Tom Cruise? Old Harrison Ford? Toothy Matt Damon? Boozer George Clooney? The only one qualified is Robert Mitchum. And he's dead.

25. Well that's justice for you.....Hollywood Style. He will NEVER change, then one day he will kill someone and that will be that..........what a joke. Paris's tear didn't do much, but Tom's sure did......he got off with yet ANOTHER slap on the wrist.
