Sizemore -- 16 Months My Ass!

Actor Tom Sizemore got his16 month prison sentence cut nearly in half today, after a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge gave him 213 days of credit for time he spent in jail, and residing in two live-in drug programs.

But the good news didn't stop there for Sizemore -- according to Deputy District Attorney Sean Carney, it's likely that he'll only end up spending a total of about 4 1/2 months behind bars.

Sizemore, who did not appear in court today, was found guilty of violating his probation in a 2004 methamphetamine conviction.

31. This is really tragic. I saw the movie HEAT recently, and Tom Sizemore totally holds his own with Robert De Niro; he goes toe to toe with De Niro, and doesn't give an inch. When he was clean & sober, he was one of America's top actors.

This man obviously is an addict. He needs a serious long term rehab lockdown in jail (while doing his sentence), along with psychotherapy & psychiatric help to figure out why he's such an addictive person. Maybe, just maybe, if he can clean up & stay clean, he can return to the acting form that shone so brightly on the screen. Just maybe...

32. This is the height of cruelty.
If not just a plain evil act
by the court of California.

The State Government owns your body
in California.
The Nazi's like that policy too.
Your body belongs to the State,
in California fellas.

Seig Heil !
I'll were my jackboots
and my Nazi arm band
the next time I'm in Sacramento.

So the court punishes a man
who is already punishing himself with addiction.

Nice Job.

Who wrote this law?
Because this an evil law
with evil intentions.
There is no redeeming quality to this law at all.
It's regressive and immoral.

He wasn't doing anything
to anybody else.
Nothing.
Nada
Zilch.

So you take away his living,
his life,
and all for what?
For smoking meth ?
Is the California court cruel fellas or what?

All possibility of redemption is lost
when you put people in prison for addiction.
It's just as evil
as our American policy of torturing our war captives.

Wickedness
Witness the evil that men do to each other.

I'll pray for the Courts soul.

Good Luck Tom

Tom move out of California.
California is for the cruel and mean spirited.

35. I remembered seeing Tom Sizemore playing the character of Bat Masterson in the movie "Wyatt Earp" with Kevin Costner as Wyatt Earp. But seeing him this way, he doesn't seem the same as when he was in the movie. What a shame!!!

36. Why are the female celebs that are busted for comparable offenses only spending a few days if any and Sizemore has such a *lengthy stay behind bars?

* that is, of course, sarcasm. There is nothing lengthy about any of their sentences. The female hotties would be walking away with time served or maybe a couple of additional hours. Double standard? Ha, hardly double, there are so many standards in the system that I can't count them

37. drug addiction isnt a choice. its a disease. yes you have to choose to do the drugs. but the addiction is beyond your control.

jailing an addict would be like jailing someone who had sex wiht a hooker a couple times and got AIDS. So because they contracted AIDS we should jail them.

people say ooooo well the drugs cause blah blah blah. this guy failed a drug test. he hurt no one. Do i think meth should be legal? hell no. but marijuana should be.
