Paris to Larry King: Freedom Is Overwhelming

Click to return to TMZ.comTMZ has obtained a first look at Larry King's exclusive interview with Paris Hilton. Paris said, among other things, that the day she got out of the pokey was the happiest day of her life.

In another clip of Larry King's interview with Paris, Hilton was on the verge of tears. She said that when she went in for sentencing, she thought she was going to get community service and was shocked to be going to jail.

In her interview with Larry King, Paris described how she pulled a fast one one the media at the MTV Movie Awards by making everyone think she wasn't going to jail that night. Paris says she fooled everyone because they didn't get the shot of her going in. Well, Paris, not exactly! For the record, TMZ got the shot!

Larry's inquiring mind wanted to know, so he went there and asked Paris if she has ever been addicted to drugs. Paris said no, adding she's "not a big drinker." Party on, Paris!

Paris Hilton told Larry King the food at the Lynwood Jail was awful. Baloney for lunch -- which the inmates called "mystery meat." As for dinner, Paris wasn't really sure what it was. They called it "jail slop."

The full interview airs tonight at 9:00 PM ET on CNN.

121. where is the rest of my comment about paris' conversion to religion?

there is no reality in paris hilton's life. her fans and supporters enjoy a herpetic-infected child-minded adult, who has yet to learn her lesson about the realities of life.

122. I watched Paris' interview on Larry King Live last night. I feel like she insulted the intelligence of many viewers. I don't believe she was truthful about her drug usage, drinking, and her ADD diagnosis. She is still in denial about her past behavior. I feel that the interview hurt her more than it helped her. I wish her much luck and hope that she has success with all of her endeavors, but first she has to be truthful with herself and I didn't see that in the interview.

125. Solitary confinement is hours and hours and hours of absolute nothingness. The guards make it so miserable, most people do not want to be sent back. You go through all kinds of emotional turmoil, confusion, depression. Unless you have slept on a cement bench with a very thin pad in basically a windowless closet with a slot in the door to receive your disgusting, repulsive, nauseating food, bathed daily in front of two guards and 16 prisoners, etc., you have no right to denigrate Paris. So what if she has everything? Jail levels the playing field. For Paris, who always commands a high degree of public and media attention, the total anonymity must have put her in a mental sort of withdrawal.
