Pop!
Britney Spears' mug was popped last night as she headed into a supermarket to fetch a few groceries after a hard couple of hours in the recording studio.
Wearing a tweed cap to hide her scraggly, shoe-dyed weave -- in her new disguise as a 1930s gangster/Calamine lotion spokeswreck -- the pop star picked up some corn flakes, eggs and cleaning supplies for her palatial mansion.
It's hard to be squeezin' in everything when you're a single mom, y'all.

She's a celebrity. The cameras are always there. She knows it. She lives for it. If she goes out looking like that, she already knows it will be photographed. The question is, why would she want us seeing her like that? The answer is, any publicity is good publicity. We wouldn't be talking about her if she looked good...at least not until she does something noteworthy.

Leave the girl alone!! Like none of yall have ever had a breakout, or even ever messed up at all!!! You just arent being put under a microscope everytime u leave ur house, and people arent mking HUGE moneyfor pictures and stupid stories about u. Give her a break

Once upon a time you had the world in the palm of your hand.
We thrilled at your concerts. We'd listen to your interviews around and about, and you came off as a talented, intelligent young lady, knowing where she was going, and destined to make it big. And you did.
WTF happened? First, you denied having any tattoos. (when we first saw the one on your lower back) You acted like, My god....Me? A tattoo? No way. Still there gal, and it's not henna. The inks no big deal at all. Cool actually. But denying it was so weak.
Then came all those pics of you smoking. Some girls look kind of hot while they smoke, however unhealthy. Brit, you look 20 years older when you're pulling on a smoke, and if you keep it up, you'll look just like that 35 year old co-worker woman who I thought was at least 50.
Then came your grammar. While quite articulate on camera, we had chance to see you as you spoke candidly at home with k-fed. I very much hate to say this, but you come off to me as a someone who was raised in the dusty trailer park underneath I-5; using words like "sumpin", "ain't", and "nuttin".
Whatever you have left financially, which I'd suppose remains a small fortune, I'd advise that you invest well, because, as I see it, and probably you too, your career as an "A Team" entertainer is over-the-hill. I say entertainer because, IMO, you never were a singer with true talent, such as Christina. You were good at what you did for a short while - entertain the teeny boppers with breathy lyrics (spoken, not sung) and your then trim young figure.
I don't think your career is entirely over, but I'm damn curious as to what's next. Reinvention doesn't work for all that many.
