17. First off...Paris did time cuz she drove on the suspended license and/or blew off court dates...NOT just the DUI.

Secondly, Eve blew EXACTLY the legal limit, 0.08. Seems to me she coulda/shoulda challenged the accuracy & calibration of the machine, but I'm thinking she just wanted to play nice as to avoid the Paris/Lindsay-esque circus.

That's a lesson to you all...first off, DO NOT TAKE A BREATHALYZER....EVER...no matter what the cops say about automatic suspension for that. If you do (again, DON'T) wait as long as possible...another 15 min. and Eve probby woulda been 0.079 and thus not DUI worthy.

Thanks to MADD and the federal government, failure to take a breathalyzer is an automatic suspension of license in all 50 states.
People who jerk around the cops like you suggest are then called pedestrians at best, jail birds at worst. I have worked in the criminal justice system for 10 years and have yet to see anyone get off by challenging the calibration of the machines. Judges take a very dim view of people who waste their time by doing that.

25. Why do so many people hate Eve, stop the hatin! Eve is hot... platinum hair regardless.
One thing that I do recomend for Eve is community service which should include an listening to people who have lost loved ones due to drunk driving among other things.
Though I am not in the hate circle of people who hate Eve, I think she needs to be along
with other people "Lindsay" need to be "scared straight" and somewhat traumatized on the real life situations on drunk driving and the results that happen, a very powerful
lesson that should be a deterent to drunk driving.

27. Eve looks great. She is smart to handle this matter in a timely and classy way. She is so sexy and well respected in the entertainment community. It was nice to see her good friend, Sean Penn, come to her rescue. Hope she has learned her lesson and never drink drive again. Eve is too big a star to be clubbed in with the likes of Paris or Lindsay. Thank you, TMZ, for removing "whitechicks" comments -- they were utterly ridiculous.

28. I just dont understand why is it that when a black girl dyes her hair blond she is trying to be white, not everyone wants to be white. Maybe the person likes blond and blond does not look abnormal on all black girls. Beyonce is blond and it looks better than her natural hair color. Also some white girls that dye their hair blond looks abnormal. I think the type of color blond she has is not good, if it was a warmer blonde it would look better.

30. I like Eve. She actually has marketable talent, unlike others who get a DUI or Drug arrest and THAT is all over the news as what they are known for

She has barely been in the gossip columns after her arrest, she didn't throw a tantrum or totally spin out of control.

Considering she was just at the legal limit, she wrecked a gorgeous car and she has to wear that ankle thing to check for "alcohol vapors" .she handled with 100% more class than any other celebrity arrest in recent history
