Celebrity Justice
It's All About Eve in Court

TMZ was in court when rap sensation Eve cut a DUI deal.

Eve, who was not present, plead no contest to DUI through her high-powered lawyer, Blair Berk, in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Eve was popped with a .08 blood alcohol level after her Maserati crashed on Hollywood Blvd. in April.

Under terms of the plea, Eve must spend 45 days with a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device attached to her ankle. She also got 36 months of "informal" probation. Eve must also pay $1400 in fines and penalties. She must also enroll in the first offender alcohol education program.

On July 20, Eve's lawyer must prove that she's hooked up to the SCRAM device and that she's enrolled in the alcohol education program.

31. What the heck is going on in 'celebrity town'. Are they all drunks who choose to drive thinking they can get off because they are celebrities??? Are there no Agents, Managers, Mother's , Father's, Sister's, Brother's or Spouses who have the guts to tell them NO !! or STOP !! Are they scared because they feel the money would stop if they had the guts to correct behavior that could be fatal to an innocent person. My comment is not just for EVE, but all of those who think their celebrity status gives them a free pass. Do celebrities really feel they are good role models for the young doing what they do ?? What a shame they have not learned to respect themselves. If you are lucky (and I mean lucky!!) to get older, will you respect yourselves??

33. The blonde hair comment (#9) was true, sometimes Eves hair looks like she snatched it right off the head of another person. It doesnt match well at times. Still, I guess the blonde thing is her trademark so whatever. I love her new single. She always seemed slightly more classy than the other female rappers out there, except for one thing that I won't even mention. Anyway, I am happy she doesn't have to go to jail because she doesn't deserve to. She didn't break any probation or anything like Paris so the sentence couldn't be the same. Oh, and number (#14), the true "real" and "decent" people in this world aren't afraid to go beyond man-made racial barriers and usually have friends outside of their own race.

34. This woman is a racist bitch, I resent the hell out of the remark she made about that so called "white cop", it was reported in the news. And Im sick of people defending these idiot clelbrities who break the law, do stupid things . . And I will tell you, that if anyone refuses to do a breathalyzer test when suspected of DUI, you can be in worse trouble and it will make you LOOK WORSE like you have something to hide. I dont drink at all, thank GOd, My sister died from alcoholism. That was enough for me.

37. I posted earlier. The racist bitch remark i made was actuallydirected at Vivica Fox, not this woman, That was an error. But i still say that if someone refuses a breathalyzer test, they will make themselves look worse, as if they have something to hide. The best thing to do is have some damned common sense and dont get behind the wheel and drive after you havve been drinking, Then there is no problem. If someone drives drunk, punish them
