Michelle Williams Braves the Light

Michelle Williams stepped into the sunshine yesterday ... for the very first time!

The pasty Oscar mominee wore this patriotic, ill-fitting 4th of July jumper in Brooklyn, looking distinctly unpleased about being photographed.

Clearly, she hasn't been sunbathing at Dawson's Creek or Brokeback Mountain.

31. What is wrong here. There is nothing wrong with being pale. I am a redhead. I embrase my paleness. Get over it! Leave her alone. She is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

32. Michelle lives in my neighborhood and this picture looks nothing like her. She is actually an attractive person both inside and out. She's has worked incredibly hard to shed the pregnancy weight. And usually looks fashionable and always has a cute new coiffe. At least she isn't going to look like a leather bag by the time she's 40 like most Hollywood types. People, be kind, would you want people saying nasty things like this about you? Try taking a look in the mirror. No one is perfect nor should they have to be.

33.
The albino who was lucky to get a bit part in an overrated, but funny, movie....
and hasn't done anything since.

So why do you report on her?

34. She looks like a normal person. No wonder the world is so screwd up. When a person looks normal and people are grossed out. I hate that my kids have to grow up in such a fake superficial world.

39. As a former queen of true tan, who now is polka dotted with sun damage, I say "smart girl" I'd rather people be saying how pale I look instead of "what are all those white spots!" When I'm 70 and wrinkled and patchy with arms that resemble leather, and she still has elastic, even skin, I'll wish even more that I had rocked the pale!! All you people saying "gross" will be singing her beauty then. You can't have it both ways. Yeah to Michelle for having foresight instead of hindsight.

41. As a skin cancer survivor, I take acception to that remark. Everyone should take care of their skin and always wear sunblock. She won't look 60 when she is 40. Can we see a picture of you and start making fun of your insecurities?

42. Heath Ledger is uncut. He's in no position to judge anyone.

43. If this was Nicole Kidman, TMZ would be talking about her beautiuful luminescent skin. She's a redhead and isn't suppose to be tan. You'd prefer the ridiculously fake-bronze color of JLo or any one of the 1000's of other people w/fake tans?

Why don't you save your energy for something interesting?

44. She is just way too white....she looks like a ghost or a vampire.

I'm not saying she should live in the sun or strive for that awful orange color,
but come on...she needs a little vitamin D sunshine, even if she sits in the shade.
