Princes Plan Special Concert for Mom

Princes William and Harry are gearing up this evening for an all-star concert in memory of their mother, Princess Diana. The concert, held at Wembley Stadium, will feature Rod Stewart, Elton John, and troubled pop princess Lily Allen.

The concert is being held on what would have been Princess Diana's 46th birthday. Elton John has agreed to perform his Diana-specific version of "Candle in the Wind" at the request of the princes.

31. A fantastic show - been watching it from the start. Where else would you see fabulous groups, singers like Joss Stone and Nellie Furtardo and the Royal Ballet in Swan Lake as well as superb rap groups and Jesus Christ Superstar al on one stage? Only in England, that's where! Can't imagine what what some of your posts are complaining about - just ignore them, it's a wonderful show. Catch it on a repeat.

32. #34 my grandparents were born in England and if they wouldn't have come here to America, I'd have been born there too. Someday I hope to get the chance to vacation in England. They are from Edinburg...what's that like? I loved Diana and still do and her two young sons are people she'd have been extremely proud of. I don't understand how people can say mean and nasty things about her. It's one thing not to like the Royal Family, but Diana and her two son's..that's just wrong to be hating on them.

34. Reply to California Girl: Edingurgh is a really beautiful city in Scotland, about six hours by train from London. It has a fantastic International Arts Festival in summer, with hundreds of different events - theatre, music, comedy and film. You'll love England too, very different from California, like it mostly rains and can be cold, but then we make up for it by having great events like the Diana Concert and Glastonbury and the Reading Rock Festival. I like your attitude - why knock Diana and her boys? After all, it's no picnic being in the spotlight night ad day!

35. P. Diddy, was amazing.......brillant performance......I only wish I could express how very touched I was by his dedication to Princess Diana, incredible pride for a sincere artist that made me (and I hope) all Americans proud!!!!! He truly was giving and totally selfless in his performance. Please watch......

36. Hope the SORRY Prince Charles and his Camille are not disgracing this concert - anyone know if those two showed?

Charles couldn't run his own family, couldn't be trusted by his own wife and kids, didn't respect his own home - he should never be allowed to TRY to lead UK.

37. I have gotten tears in my eyes so many times today - the comments by the people HRH met through her charity work, the awesome performances (Sarah Brightman/Josh Groban; Royal Ballet). Go Diddy - loved his performance and his comments about/to William & Harry. This concert has been filled with celebration and love, so much love. Good job, boys. Your mother would have loved the day.

38. The Princes' did this their on their on terms, to ensure no interferance from the Royal Family, if the Queen or Prince Charles were to attend, everything would have to been approved, and more than likely censored. (A bit of knowlege or history, and you would know the answers to your accusations. This was two boys showing their love for their mother, and during their show of respect, to profit 3 phenomenal organizations in the name of their mother. God bless you negative posters, I hope someday you will find or perhaps know an iota of compassion, to give, or even a bit of kindness.

45. White Girl, no need to get in a dither, hard to believe, but I didn't invite Diddy to perform, certainly wish I had that kind of power, the Princes' that you say you love so much, actually invited all the performers personally, perhaps you should send them an etiquite lesson, lord knows they haven't been trained from birth to represent the Royal Family in all ways. But hey thanks for you insightful comments on JLO and Diddy, guess you had them over for a BBQ when they were dating and they were rude to you and your guests??????
