She is too young and stupid to realize that when all of the phony, fake, mooch, heartless and shallow people around her now are gone, because they could give a crap less about her one way or the other, her mother will still be there for her. 57. Who gave up spending Christmas with the family just to please little 14 yr old Britney and do whatever it took to get her the record contract she so desperately wanted? MOM.
Who gave up her job and her husband and the rest of her children to take little miss Britney all around the country? MOMOM>
And why? So that from a very young age, Britney could parade around like an easy little slut teaching girls everywhere to dress innappropriately and act provocatively in order to be successful. She set the stage for all the other little teeny boppers and skanks out there right now. If Mom hadn't been on tour with her constantly and protecting her, Britney would prob have been a cracked-out teen whore with herpes. Now that Britney is an adult and can do what she wants, she shows the world her true nasty self. If it weren't for her mom, she'd just be another hillbilly high-school dropout. Maybe all this fuss over Britney and never being at home with the family is what broke up Britney's parents' marriage. She is the cause of all the misery in her pathetic little life. I would NEVER go out of my way for my kids just so they could humiliate me on camera. What a stupid little slut, I always knew she was a c*nt.

60. Now I think there are a few things to consider here. The first is that obviously what she said was a way of saying to her mum 'see how it makes you feel when it is turned back on you'. Now she may well be in denial about her use of substances - but let's track back a little ways.

Britney has been in the spotlight from a very young age - there have been people profiting off the business of 'Britney' for a long time - including her parents. Now she might have been out of the spotlight for a few years after Mickey Mouse finished, but she was still a young teen when her music career took off. Young kids don't know how to process the whole fame thing - it socializes them to be narcissistic because everyone is sucking up - but at the same time they are being used as a tool for other people's profit. Britney was rebelling before she hooked up with Kevin. She was trying to find someone who could help put space between her and those who were controlling her - she may have felt they put their money making interests above her - pushing her into doing things when she was exhausted, etc. She may have felt her parents loved the money more than they loved her. Unfortunately I think she also married a guy who loved the money more than he loved her. Britney is rebelling big time against being used.

Even if she did go on a bender, she was splitting up with someone who she felt used her and was facing the prospect of dealing with a broken family. That is a tough time for anyone to go through. She was angry at Larry Rudolph because he encouraged her to hang with Paris Hilton and she ended up humiliating herself in the process. Her ex was using all sorts of threats to get more leverage and control over her and her resources (can you imagine the child support Kevin will get if he gets full custody?). Her manager and family then send her off to rehab and any chances of getting full custody were lost because Kevin was meanwhile being painted as the 'good parent'. Before they split it seems to me he spent a heck of a lot of time away from home partying with his mates - so now he is the good parent? Spin people!

And don't think it might not be in the interests of those who profit from Britney for her to only have part custody of her kids - cos then she can focus more on her career and make them more money! They never wanted her to get married and have kids in the first place.

So she dresses like she doesn't care, goes out without make-up on. I honestly think she is just a young woman who is trying to find herself and she feels she needs to destroy some of the expectations that have been built up around her.
