Paris Hilton is certainly enjoying her time in Maui -- and was spotted on a carefree shopping spree over the weekend.

Cameras snapped the socialite strolling solo around Hawaii -- save for a bodyguard -- where she worked a crowd gathered near her car. Paris lost the ridiculous disguise she donned at the airport on Friday, once again sporting her blonde extend-a-locks and a somewhat more subtle sun hat. It's hot!

The smiling heiress stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with the group, again soaking up the attention -- and natural sunlight -- that comes with life outside the pokey.

6. No she won't have a moment's peace and that is her CHOICE and her FAULT. There are plenty of people with money that aren't covered on TMZ, young ones too. She chose to try and make herself a celebrity so she has to accept the bad press coverage along with the little good that she gets. She could very easily retreat into a secluded lifestyle and stop making herself a target for media fodder. But she is a self-conscious low self-esteem individual who thrives on this coverage. Once again, her CHOICE.

11. After watching the lying Paris on Larry King, I am convinced she is deranged. The trashy Kathy and Rick Hilton, made sure the photographers would take her pictures in Hawaii to keep her in the news. No wonder the other extended Hilton family members don't have anything to do with this nutty family. Guess you can't buy "class". When does Paris face the law suit in New York?

Why should a single penny of my tax dollars go into and investigation? Can't the Hilton's just hire the same sleazebuckets they hired to dig up dirt on the DA and judge? Wouldn't it be better if the feds were looking for terrorists who are trying to kill us? After all Paris can only kill a few at a time when she drives.
