People on here complain about Paris getting her picture taken so much, but I don't see her ASKING anyone to take it. She's minding her own business.

18. President Bush - generally acknowledged as the greatest president since president Harding - had just pardoned Lewis Libby, who had endangered your nation.

So now there should be basis for pardoning Miss. Hilton, who had only endangered the citizens near the roads.

There is no reason to keep her on probation with the risk of using yet more of the taxpayers money if she commits the slightest slip-up.

20. You were never in any danger from Libby.

He still has to pay a $250,000 fine and serve 2 years of probation.

He was not pardoned, merely not sent to prison.

Libby has been of more use to our country in his life than Paris will ever be in hers, or you, or me, most likely.

Drunk drivers kill every day.

According to preliminary data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2006, 17,941 people were killed in alcohol-related crashes - an average of one every half-hour. These deaths constituted approximately 41 percent of the 43,300 total traffic fatalities. Drunk (those at or above an illegal BAC of .08) drivers were involved in 13990 fatalities in 2006.

This is an increase from 2005, when 17,525 people were killed in alcohol-related traffic crashes and 13,613 people were killed in crashes involving drunk drivers.

Paris is potentially one of them, as are all the people who drive drunk. And .08 is drunk by law. Paris kept trying to excuse her level of impairment by claiming she only had one drink blah blah blah.

The level is set at .08 for CA for real reasons, and she needs to respect that and stop making excuses. If one drink gets her legally drunk, she needs to stop drinking.

21. I have no problem with Paris going to Hawaii or on any other retreat or vacation. She's got the money, she's got the time, and she's not bothering anyone by going there.

The problem with Paris has never been that she is wealthy or self-indulgent. I believe the problem has been that she has let the world know in no uncertain terms that she deserves more than the ordinary person merely because she has money and that she is not held to the same terms for living that other people are. Her crudity, rudeness, blatant sexual and drug activities annoy many people.

No, I have no issue with her vacations, travels, businesses that are legitimate and do good for the public (not that stupid tv show, which I was trying to watch but had to turn off when they started giving enemas at "fat camp." Too low class for me.)

I have no problem with her eye color or shoe size. Who cares? It's the other stuff, and now the lying on Larry King.

If you want Paris to go away -- as many of us do -- just stop posting comments here, and send complaining e-mails to to sponsors, media sources, etc. That's what many people did when her reps and her parents tried to negotiate interviews with the major networks for $$. That was part of the reason they declined to interview her.

26. I am sick of hearing about her. This is a frenzy news media. Wish she will go away. She is not a very popular star in Hollywood. I wish she should be stay in low profile. And everybody doesn't like her at all. Her rating on the Larry King Alive last week is rating at low and I didn't watch it at all. Sorry! That's my opinion.

27. Paris Hilton (Herpes) is having fun on her little vacation and the diseases she carries put all the other folks near her at risk. The sharks will not harm her as they are smart enough to leave her alone. The towels, wash cloths, and the bedding in her jail cell was burned. The official reason was to keep it from being sold on e bay by someone from the facility. The unofficial reason was to keep disease from spreading. You decide which is the real reason.

28. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I FIND IT A BIT SAD THAT PARIS HAS TO GO ON VACATION BY HERSELF, ESPECIALLY RIGHT AFTER COMING OUT OF JAIL. I mean it doesn't seem like any fun to be walking around Hawaii by yourself, going back to an empty hotel room, eating alone, etc... I think she deserves a vacation, but hopefully Nicky or someone joins her soon...

29. Well, she HAS changed, and its already noticable. 'Old' Paris would hire an instructor to show her the ropes of surfing when trying to learn it. 'New' Paris just gets herself a board and throws herself into the waves.

The 'new' Paris doesn't really care if she looks goofy or unskilled, wheras the 'old' version would try to avoid that.

And the difference? A much higher level of self confidence. She's changed allright, and I truly like Paris 2.0 a lot better
