Possibly one of the saddest commentaries on music right now would be Avril Lavigne.

For shame this girl was allowed to make music. The bile rises when thoughts of her and her poseur lifestyle enter my mind....ugh..

17. pfft she sucks. her music is all the same and it wouldn't be that bad if she had a better attitude to go along with it. but she doesnt; apparently she thinks that walking around spitting at cameramen is ok. i mean, really...and then people complain that the "haters" are immature? i call them as i see them- she has no talent, she's pissy for no good reason and she thinks that's 'hardcore'

20. All these jealous people bagging on Avril, it's sad...it really is. You're probably the same people who think Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears are major recording artists. Let's also try to remember one thing. Avril is worth how many millions? That's what I thought. I guess there is just not enough haters to make her record sales slump, like maybe one, oh I don't know, Kelly Clarkson. Why don't you bag on that piece of trash.

22. you people who scream "SELL OUT!" well what the hell do you think sells music? Do you think Britney was born with that tan, those white teeth and the huge boobs? Was Jessica Simpson? MOST famous people change their image and try their hardest to look good and to appeal to the most people (aka, sell the most albums). That's not being a "sellout" that's being business-savvy. Do you think singers write their own songs? Not very often. Guess what, those singers aren't just singing for the fun of it, they're singing to make money. It's a business to them.

30. With everything she has going for her in life…she should be the happiest person anyone encounters all day! What in the world does she have to be so angry about? Everyone has their problems but really….happy well adjusted people don’t go around cursing people, flipping people off and spitting on people. If your logic is she just doesn’t put up with creeps…well imagine what the world would be like if we all behaved the way she does every time someone did something we didn’t like. Notice how she never acts that way when she is alone….only when she has people around her that will protect her. She isn’t that tough. She is shallow or she wouldn’t be running around acting that way. She should be thankful she doesn’t have to work at Walmart.
