31. Talk about having an anger problem, all you people do is sit around and dump on everyone else. You have nothing to do but but sit around and be angry that you are not rich or talented. Artists in the past have bit bats heads off on stage, rip up hotel rooms, do major drugs, go on stage loaded, attack their fans. I dont see avril doing any of these thinghs done by artists in the past. Its a rockers image to be pissed off about everything.
Um right now "Greenday" comes to mind,,,,,,they make a living out off being pissed off about everything, I dont see you talking about them. Get a life, you are just jealous. She writes all her own stuff, plays an instrument, sings live. What else do you want. Brit just gets up there and shakes her behind. She couldnt sing if her life depended on it. Avril you go girl, its nice to see someone make it and make it on their own merits.

Avril grew up on country, and started out in country music. She switched to this "punk thing" because it was more marketable. she has been a commercial product since day one, and somehow no one noticed that she's 100% manufactured.

37. Ah the Jerry Lewis syndrome. When your fans in North America turn on you, head to Europe where those dummies will fall for anything. Lewis is nearly a Saint in France, yet scorned here. Maybe Avril has figured that Germans might be tone deaf or something and is pushing her shtick now on them.

Either way, I doubt she could sell out anything beyond a House of Blues sized club in the US too often.

At one time I thought in her earliest works she was singing from the heart and with real feelings, I have come to learn it is about as inspirational as New Kids on the Block was---manufactured in plastic out back.

44. Avril did not write her own music. Some team of super producers/songwriters called The Matrix wrote her songs for her. Perhaps she added a word here and there for writing credits. She also used to carry around that damn guitar, but mysteriously never played it live. She is only recently playing it (after realizing she would have to eventually and seeking guitar lessons). She claims in interviews that she didn't claim to be punk, the media branded her that way, but dresses in faux-punk clothes and spits and pretends to be angry and depressed. Now she is a barbie doll, after making a name for herself by being the "anti-Britney". Her music has never been anything special: "Complicated", "sk8ter boi"?? Yeah, stellar songwriting. How about her new stuff: "Hey, hey, I don't like your girlfriend....." Wow, I could never write such indepth stuff. Bubble gum pop is all she ever was and all she could ever be. Oh yeah, her husband's quasi-punk "band" sucks too. Does anyone even own one of their albums? Anybody? Didn't think so. Bad music for 14 year olds who have no clue who David Bowie is.

45. It is my contention that people involved in the same business should not publically, stand in judgement of each other. Especially since the one standing in judgement is only half as talented as the one they are judging. this is the case with the above. She think she is all that....which she is ....but not the all that that she thinks she is. She's the other all that....that which is on her way out.
