Nicole Richie IS Pregnant

TMZ has independently confirmed that Nicole Richie is pregnant.

The starlet has been dating Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden for over six months. Rumors have been swirling for months that Richie and Madden were expecting, but TMZ has confirmed through several sources that she is, in fact, with child. In Touch magazine is also reporting that the couple will wed this summer. Richie is currently facing DUI charges stemming from her arrest last December, when she was found driving the wrong way on a California highway.

Richie's trial is set for July 11. If convicted, she faces a minimum of five days in jail.

Richie's rep did not return repeated calls for comment.

76. All American Girl, what are you talking about the baby will live of the nutrients left in her body??!! You have to eat EVERYDAY when you are pregnant. Healthy food, so the baby can GROW. What do you think, the baby will live int here for 9 months without food??!!

81. i say whatever, congratulations to her. a baby is a happy occasion either way. at least she can afford to have it, not like so many young mothers who get knocked up only to not be able to properly provide for their kid. as far as going to jail goes, it would keep her out of jail for awhile at least so if the judge decided that jail time is needed it will be later. i'm sure that will make the haters very happy. lmao, you amuse me people. i don't have anything against nicole. she isn't as stupid as brittany or lindsay. i wish her the best- maybe this baby will help her better her life

84. The courts dont dismiss pregnant women from going to jail.
Personally I think her sentance should be until she gives birth.
At least the baby might have a chance with Nicole being locked up away from drugs.
