Wayne Brady Files for Divorce

Former talk show host Wayne Brady is singing the blues today. TMZ has learned that the "Whose Line is it Anyway?" star's wife, Mandie Taketa Brady, has filed for divorce.

The divorce documents, filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, cite irreconcilable differences for the split. Taketa is also requesting join custody of their daughter, 4-year-old Maile Masako Brady.

Papers indicate that the Bradys actually split a year ago, in April '06, but did not officially file for divorce until today. The two were married in 1999.

A rep for Brady told TMZ "After a prolonged period of separation, Wayne Brady and his wife Mandie are divorcing, citing irreconcilable differences. The split is very amicable and they continue to remain the best of friends and committed parents."

wow your shallow his wife is asian. I saw him with his daughter and i think nanny at the airport, going from las vegas to burbank, he was with Flavor flav believe it or not
Both were cool,his daughter is a cute kid but wayne cant do a little girls hair for beans, he better hire a nanny for when he has her, her hair was a mess!

37. To me he was not funny, but real. He always talked about his wife and their baby girl. Things happen. Those of you in the post who have glass houses. How many stones are thrown at you? We are all human and to marry the one we love is not a mistake. Even if it breakups. Each thing that happens in our lives is a blessing. I don't and have never wanted anyone to be married if they are no longer happy. It is nice to know some couples are marred for many years. But, were they "still happy"?

43. it doesn't matter if a rich brother marries a white girl, an asian girl, a latina, a black girl, a purple, orange and green polka dot girl with yellow racing stripes... the bottom line is that if the brother is rich, a lot of women are looking to get their hands on his money... flat out. why are women raised with the sensibility to marry a rich guy...? they want an easy life of luxury and if they can marry a rich guy and piggyback on his success and wealth, they will do that... they want that money... if they have to marry you and have your baby to get it... they will most definitely do that... brothers with cash and fame that are seeking to truly build wealth shouldn't get married anyway... play the field and build them stacks up... and if you must be a sucker for love, please get a pre-nupt... pay that child support... spoil your child with all of the love and affection that you can give to him/her and leave your marriage a little wiser (hopefully) with all of your financial assets still intact... you leave with what you came in with... she leaves with what she came in with...there is no reason on earth why you should have to give half (or more) of the wealth you've spent your life trying to attain to some woman just because the marriage didn't work out... tell her goodbye... show her the door... and get right back to stacking that wealth... too many women think that they are entitled to half of the loot (or more) just because they married some rich guy, laid on their backs and had a baby... too many of these women are scheming to get the divorce and get paid anyway... to all my rich brothers... don't be a sucker for love... it doesn't matter what color the girl is... the majority of them hoes are crazy in love with your GREEN.

44. I guess Brady will be singing and dancing his way to the POOR HOUSE, since his leech of a soon-to-be-ex-wife will bleeeeeeeeeeeeeed him dry for alimony. Guess he can fellow marriage failure Leeza Gibbons in the screwed up the ass department. Paying it 'til it hurts club members! ;-)
