Al Gore's Son Busted!

Al Gore IIIAl Gore III, the 24-year-old son of Al Gore was arrested on suspicion of drug possession today. The former second-in-command's son was pulled over after allegedly driving his Prius 100 miles an hour down an Orange County freeway. (At least he was driving a Prius!) When deputies searched the car they found pot, along with Valium, Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall. He is currently being held at the Santa Ana Inmate Reception Center on $20,000 bail.

This isn't Gore III's first arrest. He was charged with marijuana possession in 2003 and was ticketed for reckless driving in 2000 and 2002.

47. Apparently after all of Tippers hard work getting parental adversories on CD covers she must have not been around for any drug talks with her son.

Funny how some parents spend so much time telling YOU how to parent they forget to check their own back yards.

49. Getting arrested isn't a big deal, doing 100 mph in a Prius is freakin funny! Who would have thought a Pruis could go over 65 mph!

51. Wow, I had no idea a prius could go a 100 mph.
Too bad the Bush twins we're riding along in the back seat. That would have been a perfect reminder of what it means to be young and rich in America today.

53. LOL@ 26, 29, and 47.

Think they'll make an example of him like they did Paris Hilton?

I can't wait to hear what Rush has to say. He has an amazing comic genius. If you don't agree, then you're not listening!!!

Good luck, kid, and slow down on the fun-o-meter just a tad!

55. 7. If Al Gore was my dad - i'd need drugs too!

===========================================
...and Johnny Wadd, what have you or YOUR dad done to help mankind? You sound like a loser to me...and I bet your dad is not much of a man either if you represent the mentality of his offspring. Go do something to contribute to society rather than sitting at your computer doing nothing at all.

Fox News has made me proud of my Freedom and Liberty from my parents since I turned Eighteen and thanks to Bill and Shawn hope it stays that way.

58. The older readers will remember Mom Tipper's crusade against drug references in rock lyrics. We laughed our bu(tt)ds off!
Some reward...

59. wow. so many of you are really quite moronic. Gore's son is an adult, and we have to remember that if he act like an imbicile, he's not the one who ran for office. Global warming actually exists im sorry to tell you- i know it sucks, and it might seem like it is exaggerated but people seem to have a problem embracing the fact that they need to do something; humanity is lazy...

and remember Gore's opponent in the presidential elections>?

60. Yes, another look at potential addiction (pharmaceutical drugs, alcohol, et al.) in our society and the Soul's enormous lesson in overcoming it. Nobody is exempt and, hopefully, all are using these stories as mirrors for self-healing instead of casting judgment.

We never know where addiction will show up in the family lineage and, therefore, no family is exempt and, especially, those with "O" Type Blood and direct or indirect lineage ties to the indigenous or Native American.

I can imagine The Gores will (finally) be able to get him to confront any addiction via the legal system. They are forthright humans and will handle this the same way they have handled other challenges.

For all on this board who are taking any of the drugs listed above, find a therapist and/or medical doctor who treats patients without them. Criticize Tom Cruise, Scientology, and other programs all you want, but there is great truth to what he stated with Matt Lauer (though he was going through a fiesty period in his life and didn't share the information as softly as he might otherwise have done to gain a positive attention and/or response from the public but then, again, most are in denial until their life begins to unravel!
