David Arquette spent the 4th of July shielding his wife's home from photographers. It's hard being Mr. Courteney Cox!
With paps staked outside of Cox's Malibu compound, the "Eight Legged Freaks" thesp, with some help from the hired help, turned a patio umbrella on its side for some privacy. No dirt, please!
Poor David. If only people were as interested in him as much as the paps are interested -- in his wife and daughter!

19. In case TMZ has forgotten, the Arquette's are a whole family of actors. They've been around a whole lot longer than Courtney. He's not bad, he's just not out there in everyone's faces. Then we have the idiots that read this and agree. I've said it a million times, TOO MUCH HATE, & TMZ is just as guilty. They dont seem to have anything good to say about anyone, including Paris, which I still dont understand why she thanked them. They bashed her everyday & everyone fed into it.
