The blackmailed beauty queen who's being terrorized by an anonymous nemesis says the pictures in question don't show her drinking underage, nor any salacious skin, nor anything else that would disgrace her. So, as Matt Lauer asked her on "Today," why not just release the photos and scuttle the blackmailer?

Polumbo didn't know quite what to say to that, and characterized the snaps as "normal college girl" stuff. Meanwhile, her mom told the New York Daily News that rumors that she was boozing before her time were "lies," but Polumbo is scheduled to meet with Miss America officials to discuss what's in the pics.

None of the runners-up have been interviewed by police, they say.

Foxy Brown – Missing in Plain Sight?


After Foxy Brown was reported "missing" by her lawyer over the weekend and that she'd "disappeared" to London, it seems that she hadn't gone very far after all. PerezHilton.com reported that the rapperista had been "found" in New York, performing at the Urban Music Awards on Saturday night.

Foxy's lawyer had sounded the alarm that she had boarded a flight across the pond and hadn't been heard from and could be "anywhere," including "hibernating" in London. Well, Foxy didn't go very far, and in any case, she was late to get to her hosting gig at the Music Awards.

How's this for crazy? A new report says that Ivanka Trump could be filling Rosie O'Donnell's old seat on "The View," but an insider tells Page Six, "It ain't gonna happen." The National Enquirer reported that hiring the busty "hottie with brains" would be a way for Barbara Walters to get back at Paris and the Hiltons for ditching her in favor of Larry King. But Babwa's still not over Ivanka's daddy Donald's calling her a liar during his tussle with Rosie, and so any Trump hire would be far-fetched.

Michael Jackson has been making life for the staff of a hotel in Maryland hellish, ordering chicken fingers and "other types of kids food" at 4:00 AM. But he did call and bless the manager of the Inn at Perry Cabin, reports Page Six.

34. About Miss Nj, there must be tons of women more beautiful who come without this type of problem...I say move over & let the first runner up take the spot. It's suppose to be about positive role modeling, it's just not worth keeping the situation going.

39. When I first saw the Miss NJ thing I thought she was telling the truth, but after her behavior on the TODAY SHOW, I think it's a little stunt in there somewhere. She was just too darn happy and pleased to be there. It could not have been the cameras , etc. because she should be used to that. She is lying somewhere, or about something. Matt was being serious and she was giggling in the background. And her so called lawyer...what the heck is up with those shades?I don't know what it is , but something smells like fish to me.

40. I wonder why as a society do we get so obessed with these stories and these individuals. I was reminded on Princess Diana's 10 anniversary that this type of frenzy was a major contributing factor to her death. So much was printed about how it was going to change. Obviously, nothing has changed.

Our quest to endlessly delve into these stories feed the frenzy. We really should stop to ask ourselves, why we care.

I came upon this story right now not because I was looking for it. It is impossible to avoid it. Yesterday it was Paris, then Britney, then.......

Maybe someday important news will make page one again.

I don't see how the possilbity of her losing her crown effects my life or would be of any real interest. If less people cared, less would be reported. We create the demand for these endless stories.

41. We think the whole thing is a cheap publicity stunt by Miss NJ and we wish the media would stop covering it, period. Miss NJ first put the photos on the Internet (on her Facebook profile) herself and if she was concerned about them she should not have posted them on the Internet in the first place. And of course the real question (why did she take the photos in the first place?) has never even been asked let alone answered. We have NO sympathy for her at all. This whole thing is a petty and insignificant publicity stunt blown up by the media and much ado about nothing.

42. NORMAL COLLEGE GIRL STUFF? What does that mean? If its not nudity, drinking, or drugs-then what? It sounds like a lesbian type issue as there doesnt seem to be any thing else. If she is a lesbian, she should come out and say so and end this ordeal.

43. I'm sure Miss New Jersey is not playing. When you go for and win a crown, and something from your past whatever it is, or however 'harmless' it may have seemed at that point, the MAP takes it very seriously. I was a decrowned title holder for Miss NY (and the local pageant to get me there) from being in a movie I did not thing was a big deal I was acting it wasn't porn but they didn't like the violence. That was the 80's. I think now things shouldn't be a big deal but these girls who enter these things must KNOW exactly what they've done where they've been and IF there is a shadow of a doubt of your behavior or what you've done - DON'T ENTER - it WILL COME out.. I learned the hard way. Granted I got a movie career out of the publicity but i wanted to represent my county and my town so it was a bummer. But I've told many girls the same thing as above: if you know you have ANYTHING or someone was taking photos at a party where you were even acting out of character for whatever reason or out of character to what the pageant describes as "indecent, immodest, or in bad taste" (from the contract) DO NOT ENTER and you don't always win at the end!
