Hermione Won't Flip the Bird

Emma Watson's on her way to being a starlet ... but she's not ready to flip-off the paparazzi -- yet.

TMZ cameras spotted the "Harry Potter" teenage witch shopping at celeb favorite Kitson on uber-trendy Robertson Blvd. yesterday, where she was quick to throw a wave to photogs snapping her pic. When a few cameramen started asking her to give them the finger, Watson just kept smiling, clearly not understanding the thick American accents of the photogs.

Maria Menounos, who was doing an interview with Watson, explained what paps were asking her to do, and Emma cracked up, shaking her head and saying, "No!!"

She's still got a lot to learn.

78. In regards to Hermione 'not flipping the bird' to the paparzzi after being asked to on your 'in the zone', maybe, just maybe Emma, after learning what they were asking her to do has more class than some of the spoiled brat, too much $ for their head egos to stoop to such grungy public displays. She along with her costars have gotten plenty of good publicity and all seem to be well adjusted, levelheaded young maturing actors and with their public displays of attitude and personality that is shared will go a long way with a welcoming future from those of us who are sick of our American version of starlets and actors who think they deserve so much instead of working for it and earning it. It's nice to know some of the younger generations of actors/actresses aren't spoiled, tempertantrum throwing, boozing, partying, drugging brats. Can't wait for the next two HP movies and look forward to seeing their other ventures.
