yes, you are right. normally, you would ask for an adjournment (depending on state) sometimes even through mail if all parties are notified and all that good stuff. however, I am not sure what this court date was for - as far as I know, it was for trial, which means she would have appeared - I am assuming the doctor will be there too now

From a lawyer, probably what will happen is everybody will show up and her lawyers will ask for a continuance on the record because their expert witness is not available, and the judge will grant it. Lil Nicky will have to be present, though, or else the judge will be well within the law to issue a warrant for failure to appear.

26. Does Canada also have seperate laws for celebrities??
A DUI charge is considered a felony in Canada and this makes a person inadmissable to the country under their normal laws.
I have seen people turned away at the border because they have a DUI charge but it seems that Nciole has no such problems.
