Celebrity Justice
Nicole Runs for the Border, Joel Fluffs

With a court date tomorrow stemming from her DUI last December, Nicole "The Pillow" Richie did what any pregnant, emaciated, spoiled starlet would do -- flee the country! Oh, Canada!

Taking a cue from the Michael Jackson Children's School of Disguise, Nicole arrived in Calgary hiding behind a pillow with baby daddy-to-be, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden. Lifestyles of the rich and the famous! The unwed couple are up north because Joel's band has a show tonight at the Calgary Stampede -- an A-list rodeo! Apparently, times are not-so-good, Charlotte.

Nicole will be able to enjoy her time at the rodeo, because Wednesday's court date is a motions hearing -- for which she does not need to be present. So while Wrong Way Richie won't personally be attempting to get out of her DUI tomorrow, she'll still be knee-deep in bullsh**t!

166. Hey Canada, seal your borders since you all are soooooo special.
Keep to yourselves and stay the hell away from us. America doesn't want you here either.

167. to dingdongdan...Yeah but, we're talking about Canada here. We could send up the ladies auxillary from the VFW and my kids soccer team to kick your asses and they'd still be back to cook us dinner and play their game. So keep sendin' us beaver pelts and maple syrup, bitches!

169. Your insulting comments towards the Candian military are quite annoying. The USA as a country is over 200 years old, where as Canada is only around 140 years old, Canada has a population of 30 million, the US has a population of 300 million, obviously with a population of 300 million you have not only the ability to form a large military, but a necessity to.

In case you forgot Canada is your ally, Canadian soldiers are as important to the "war or terrorism" and protection of democracy as American soldiers.
Show some respect for ALL military personell, Canadian or American.

Love thy neighbor.

170. Canadians please explain WHY you come to the U.S. to shop and then throw your shopping bags and old clothing all around our mall and plaza parking lots? I consider Canadians nothing more than litter bugs contributing to an increase in my taxes because someone has to PAY to clean up after you pigs!

171. #172 Lauri is it?

What the hell are you talking about? Are you that PETY of a person that you Hate on Canadian's because some shop in the U.S.?? Have you ANY PROOF that it is Canadian's that are littering your "Parking Lots"?? How Petty of a person you are.

Just as an FYI - Canada was Voted way ABOVE the US as one of the Cleaness Countries to live in.

Ignorance is a shame, especially with such a lame reason as you have for Hating on Canadians.

172. Lauri
Do ALL Canadians do this? Atrocious! Those Canadians that throw garbage around your shopping mall are very bad Canadians and will be clubbed to death when they return.
Imagine Candians on vacation waiting for hours to get though security just to go to the sparkling clean shopping malls to throw thier clothes around. The nerve....

173. I'm Gay!

174. JJ, you have no worries about me visiting Can-a-DUH, I assure you. And I did not say that I was racist. I said I had not been prejudiced against Candians until I came online and have listened to their dumbasses blow off on the internet for 10 years. This may be a strain on your brain, but there is no such 'race' as being Candian. It is a nationality.

I have no problem with Americans bashing our President. They are Americans. I do have a problem with loudmouths who trash the United States while benefitting from being a country that borders us.

Posted at 1:00PM on Jul 11th 2007 by trinity

175. Well Trinity, in case you didn't notice, the majority of "trashing" going on here is BY Americans towards Canadians, so your rediculous comment is ignorant.

I hardly find an increasing threat of a terrorist attack on Canadian soil, because we support you, benficial.
Being robbed of millions of dollars in softwood lumber royalties by the United States is also not very benficial,
Not to mention the oil, and energy resources Canada sends to the USA. (California, New York)
Oh and theres the issue of clean water for your northern agriculture, lets not get into the "mad cow" debacle that crippled Albertas beef industry, oh just blame Canada.
I think you are confused, the USA is the one BENIFITTING from being a country that borders Canada.

176. Not to mention that 6 Canadian soldiers were killed last week, while on duty in Afghanistan, and why are they there? To help fight the war on terrorism and help defend our neighbors the United States. So remember the next time you want to bash us that our men and women are over there getting killed for your country. Wasn't it Afghanistan who attacked the world trade center? Why are Canadians fighting there and Americans are in Iraq, or are there Americans in Afghanistan too?

177. For the last couple of days I have been sitting here reading the comments put forth by both Canadians and Americans and I cannot believe the nastiness posted by residents on each side of the border.
I live in Edmonton, Canada which is about two and one half hours drive north of Calgary in the great province of Alberta. Our province is directly north of Montana. There is a lot of rivalry between Calgary (where the Stampede is) and Edmonton. Both cities have populations of approximately one million people and residents of both cities make degrading remarks about each other but it is all done "tongue-in-cheek" and we have a lot of fun doing it. I am hoping that this is the case between the Americans and Canadians that are posting here, but for some reason, I doubt it.
I read with growing dismay every day the "Yankee-bashing" in our newspapers and it troubles me very much. We are all fighting a great evil that is threatening both of our countries along with every other democratic country in the world and that evil is Muslim extremist terrorism. If these people had their way they would wipe all of us, our culture and our countries off the face of the earth. Please, please let us all care for and respect each other.
My husband and myself holiday every year in the southern U.S., Florida, Louisianna, and Tennessee and we have grown to love America as much as Canada. We are always treated with the utmost kindness and friendliness when we are there. There are some differences between both countries but that is what make us "American" or "Canadian". Both countries were founded on the same principles.
Our family welcomes any and all people from America that want to come here to see what we're all about and I hope that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden enjoy their time here as do most Americans when they come.

178. You are absolutely right pinkprarierose your comment is by far the most sensible one written yet on this matter. Yes, I left a nasty comment about Canadians yesterday on this forum. I'm sorry, I ran out of weed & i'm jonesing.

179. Hey Joe Keep that pillow away from your eyes. Didn't you see Knocked Up? LOL

Posted at 2:56PM on Jul 11th 2007 by patirol

180. Totally agree with PinkprairieRose.

Americans are a great people with much to be proud of. As an equally proud Canadian, I applaud you. I've been coming and going across our shared border for years, and I've found fantastic people on both sides of it. Why let an entertainment list be a venue to make mud pies? We should be oh-so-careful with the word hate . . . We all know what comes of it.
